Full name for "teddy"?

I think the nickname [name]Teddy[/name] is so cute and I want to have a full name that won’t get shortened to [name]Ted[/name] when he’s older.
[name]Theodore[/name] is not my style, but I really like [name]Theron[/name].
Are there any other names you can suggest?
Thanks!

[name]Edward[/name]? Maybe even [name]Edmund[/name]? You could do initials as well, mayb something like [name]Theron[/name] [name]Elliot[/name] [name]David[/name] “[name]TED[/name]”

[name]Edward[/name] or [name]Edmund[/name] would be my suggestion. I love [name]Edmund[/name].

[name]Edwin[/name]. [name]Thaddius[/name]?

I have the same problem, I love [name]Teddy[/name] but can’t find a full name for it that I like. [name]Theodore[/name] doesn’t appeal to me at all, so I’ve considered [name]Edward[/name], but the thought of [name]Ed[/name] or [name]Eddie[/name] makes me cringe. I like [name]Theron[/name], and I think although [name]Teddy[/name] might be a stretch, it could work. I also really like the idea of initials spelling [name]TED[/name], that would be neat too.

Thanks for the responses. I will investigate the initials spelling [name]Ted[/name], with [name]Theron[/name] as the first name! The older classic names are not my style at all so, [name]Edmund[/name], [name]Edward[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] are all out for me.
I really want to stay away from names that start with [name]Ted[/name] since I have a awful association with a [name]Ted[/name].
But love [name]Teddy[/name]!
Thanks again! Any others?
