Future baby names

[name_f]My[/name_f] boyfriend and I were talking about baby names, while he gave me his opinion on my name options.

He likes [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Laura[/name_f], and [name_f]Megan[/name_f]. His mom’s middle name is [name_u]Marie[/name_u], a name that I adore. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] or [name_f]Megan[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] would get my vote from his list. I suggested [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]. He would have been named [name_f]Megan[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] if he had been a girl. He liked [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] for a boy, but I dislike all of those aidan/jayden/kayden etc. name trends! I mentioned the names [name_u]Daniel[/name_u], [name_u]Michael[/name_u], or [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], plus [name_u]James[/name_u]. What do you think?

I’m a big fan of “old school-y” names and these are great! I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]. Quite common but maybe not for the next generation. Which, in my opinion, is awesome!

I’m getting a 70s and 90s vibe which is cool. I love [name_f]Laura[/name_f] and [name_u]Marie[/name_u] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]! [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is nice too.
Your boy names are very traditional and common so everyone will be familiar with those names :slightly_smiling_face:

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is beautiful! I really like the warm [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] and [name_f]Megan[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] too!

I enjoy [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] too

You have a great starting point!

I absolutely love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], [name_u]Daniel[/name_u], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] & [name_u]James[/name_u] so practically all your names.

I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is absolutely gorgeous as is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] (this is my favourite) and [name_f]Megan[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is very simplistic, understated classic choice a lovely name.

Some combination ideas from your list could be [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] & [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u].

I honestly prefer Marie as a first name more than the other options you mentioned. Marie Rose, Marie Elizabeth, etc - Marie can really go with just about any middle name! It’s short, sweet, and with the familiarity of Mary and Maria, but the stylish, accented -ie end making it more modern.

ETA: Completely forgot about the boy name! Whoops  Out of the ones you mentioned, I prefer James! Then again, I’m partial to short boy names with longer middles.

I’m with you on the classics.

I like Scott and Emma was an old favorite of mine. Meredith Marie has too many M’s for my boyfriend’s taste.
