I’m only 16, but one day I hope to have a beautiful family. And I was hoping for some feedback on some of my favorite names…
If I had it my way, I would have a son first. Because of my love for Gone With the Wind, I have to name him [name]Rhett[/name]. [name]How[/name] does [name]Logan[/name] sound as a middle name?
Next, I would love to have a girl. Big bro/lil sis combos are just the cutest. [name]Maeva[/name] is my favorite <3 and I want to pair it with Genevieve.
I really, really, really want to have the chance to adopt too. And I want her middle name to be Hosanna. The problem is, I am fresh out of ideas for a first name.
Then, weird as it may be, I am always having dreams that I am a mom with twin boys, so I’ll throw them in there too. Jude and Joel. Jude Declan and Joel Linden to be exact.

I love [name]Rhett[/name], but dislike [name]Logan[/name] a lot. Your other L name of [name]Linden[/name] is far nicer.
[name]Maeva[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] is really beautiful. Wouldn’t change a thing about it.
I don’t know how to say Hosanna in English so I don’t know what goes with it.
I love [name]Declan[/name] and [name]Linden[/name]. I love [name]Joel[/name] and like [name]Jude[/name] (prefer [name]Judah[/name] though) but I would never name twins FNs with the same initials, as I think it encourages people to treat them as a unit instead of individuals, and also it increases the chances of them being mixed up as they just sound so much alike. I love a LOT of J names for boys but I’d have to choose.
Oh I remember that hymn! The joys of English state primary schools haha. ‘Give me joy in my heart’ I think it was called.
Anyway, [name]Rhett[/name] is nice. I don’t mind [name]Logan[/name] either, but I don’t think they go very well together.
Something about [name]Maeva[/name] doesn’t sit right with me. It’s pretty, but to me it just looks like a fussier version of [name]Maeve[/name], which is already beautiful. I do really love [name]Genevieve[/name] though and it does go well with [name]Maeva[/name]. I’ve only ever known French girls named [name]Maeva[/name], which is probably why I like them together so much.
Hosanna is pretty, and I have fond memories of the it. For some reason I think it would be lovely with an E- first name -

[name]Jude[/name] and [name]Joel[/name] are too close as twin names in my opinion. And I’m not a huge fan of the middle names either.
Personally I think [name]Logan[/name] is a little too harsh-sounding for a middle to something as abrupt as [name]Rhett[/name]. I’d go for something softer like [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Asa[/name], [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Ethan[/name], [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Noah[/name], [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Owen[/name], [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Cedar[/name] or [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Elijah[/name].
As for [name]Maeva[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name], it’s a little V-heavy (similar to my name!) but I think it definitely works, it’s beautiful My favourite here!
[name]Jude[/name] and [name]Joel[/name] are too similar for twins in my opinion, and probably too similar so siblings. [name]Both[/name] one-syllable J-names with a strong vowel sound. I’d either substitute [name]Judah[/name], [name]Julian[/name] or [name]Julius[/name] for [name]Jude[/name]; or [name]Joseph[/name], [name]Jonah[/name], or [name]Josiah[/name] for [name]Joel[/name]. [name]Even[/name] then I wouldn’t use any of them for twins. As for the combos themselves, I’m not keen on [name]Declan[/name]. I love [name]Linden[/name] but [name]Joel[/name] [name]Linden[/name] rolls into one for me because of the Ls at the beginning and end. I’d go for [name]Joel[/name] [name]Declan[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] [name]Linden[/name] myself, I really like the latter combo.
My suggestions for a first name for Hosanna would be [name]Grace[/name] Hosanna, [name]Elise[/name] Hosanna, [name]Lucy[/name] Hosanna, [name]Violet[/name] Hosanna, [name]Audrey[/name] Hosanna, [name]Cecily[/name] Hosanna, [name]Sapphire[/name] Hosanna or [name]Marina[/name] Hosanna.
I like the first two choices a lot seperately though I’m not sure that [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Logan[/name] and [name]Maeva[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] pair up as siblings too well stylistically. [name]Logan[/name] and [name]Maeva[/name] sound more like brother and sister in my opinion. So maybe something along the lines of [name]Logan[/name] [name]Rhett[/name], [name]Maeva[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name], and [name]Fiona[/name] Hosanna?
I also think you should switch around the twin’s names. [name]Both[/name] as individuals and in relation to them as a set, I think [name]Jude[/name] [name]Linden[/name] and [name]Joel[/name] [name]Declan[/name] sound a little better. That way the D in [name]Declan[/name] doesn’t run into the end of [name]Jude[/name] and also the L in [name]Linden[/name] doesn’t run into the end of [name]Joel[/name]. Also it ensures both boys would each have both prominent ‘d’ and ‘l’ sounds in their full names. =]

I’m 15, but obsessed with names, so we’re in similar boats! Hahah. This is how mine would go…
I’d have a boy first. His name would be [name]Seth[/name] [name]Austin[/name]. [name]Seth[/name], because it’s my all-time favorite. And [name]Austin[/name] is my favorite brother’s name.
Then, a girl. She would probably be [name]Erica[/name] [name]Beth[/name] - [name]Erica[/name] is one of my favorites and [name]Beth[/name] is my middle name.
Another boy would come next. His name would be [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Justin[/name]. [name]Gavin[/name] is another one I like and [name]Justin[/name] is a family name.
Fourth - another girl. She would be named [name]Rose[/name] [name]Natalie[/name]. Same as usual - [name]Rose[/name] is a favorite, [name]Natalie[/name] is a family name.
Last would be a girl. And she would be [name]Nola[/name] [name]Juliette[/name]. Maybe [name]Nora[/name], I haven’t decided yet.
Haha…I have this weird thing, I don’t want any of my kids to have names that start with the same letter. So…looks like it’ll be good!
