Future Girl Names with Kel

Greetings! I’m thinking about future girl names. I would like to incorporate the name Kel, like Keladry of Mindelan from the Protector of the Small series. The character is female, but the name has an androgynous vibe, so I’m looking for names to pair with it that are a little more feminine so that she has multiple options. Future last name is one syllable. Here are some ideas so far:
Lucy Kel
Seren Kel
Sophie Kel
Kel Mirren
Kel Mireya
Junia Kel
Lorica Kel
Alice Kel

Note: Lorica and Junia are both religious names that may not be on this site yet. Junia is the name of an apostle, and a lorica is a prayer of protection (a ‘shield’).

What do you like/what would you add?

[name_f]Maris[/name_f] is 100% my favorite! But I like [name_f]Malia[/name_f], [name_f]Marieke[/name_f], [name_f]Mariska[/name_f], [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], Mirjami, Mirjama, [name_f]Mara[/name_f], [name_f]Mariel[/name_f], [name_f]Maranatha[/name_f], [name_f]Manon[/name_f], [name_f]Maja[/name_f], Maren/Marin? [name_f]Mariel[/name_f] and [name_m]Kel[/name_m] wouldn’t really work together, but [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_m]Kel[/name_m] or [name_m]Kel[/name_m] [name_f]Maranatha[/name_f] or [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_m]Kel[/name_m] would be lovely I think!

I like [name_f]Maris[/name_f] in general too, though maybe not precisely that for this combo. Perhaps [name_f]Mara[/name_f] or a Celtic variation thereof. :slight_smile:

Though it depends on the pronunciation of [name_f]Maris[/name_f] too. Hmm. In any case, good food for thought!

[name_f]Seren[/name_f] [name_m]Kel[/name_m], [name_m]Kel[/name_m] [name_f]Mireya[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_m]Kel[/name_m] are lovely.

Lorica is really cool btw – but the [name_f]Lori[/name_f]ca Kel feel a bit choppy to me (sorry)

You’re not wrong. I like [name_f]Lorica[/name_f], but it might not flow with this combo. (Kel [name_f]Lorica[/name_f] reminds me too much of ‘caloric’!).

I like the name [name_f]Marie[/name_f], though for some reason, I don’t want to use it personally.
