[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts on your list-
Girls-
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]-This is really cute w/your girls. Old fashioned, simple & charming, plus a little quirky.
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]-I like this name fine. It’s a bit popular. It’s sort of more exotic then [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_f]Florence[/name_f], but it doesn’t not it.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]-This is fine. I feel like it’s on everybody’s list on NB, so I’m sort of sick of it. Maybe [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] as a nn?
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] this! Spunky, smart, feminine yet not frilly. It goes nicely w/Violet & [name_f]Florence[/name_f] too. And so many good nn options; [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Bess[/name_f], [name_f]Bette[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f] & [name_f]Trixie[/name_f]. Obviously, you couldn’t do [name_f]Bette[/name_f]. But [name_f]Bess[/name_f] or [name_f]Bea[/name_f] would be great.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]-I like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] slightly more, but they’re both nice. I feel like this is a bit calmer, if that makes sense.
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]-I can’t get on board w/this one. A bit too evangelistic for me.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]-This is super sweet & cheerful. Really nice w/your crew.
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]-I like this too, but it’s more heavy than [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]-I like this said ‘[name_f]Rose[/name_f]-uh-lind’, but I think a lot of people would say ‘[name_f]Roz[/name_f]-uh-lind’. [name_f]Roz[/name_f] just sounds like a cranky old lady to me.
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]-Ooh, pretty. A slightly different style, but still works. Sort of nick-name-less. Maybe [name_u]Ami[/name_u].
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]-This is lovely & fits in well. I like the way it flows off the tongue.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]-This works, & it’s fine. I’m not super in love w/it. [name_m]Just[/name_m] always sounds a little clunky to me. I do like the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f]. [name_f]Letty[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f] & [name_f]Millie[/name_f] would be sweet.
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]-This is fun & a little different. Smart yet quirky. Great nns too. [name_f]Imee[/name_f], [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] or my favorite, Idgie.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]-So pretty, & even though it’s more exotic, I think that this actually fits in really well. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nns too.
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]-Hm. I like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] slightly more, but w/all of the pronunciation confusion that it may lead to, this seems safer. And it’s a beautiful, smart, classic name that goes great w/your girls’ names.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]-I can’t get on board w/this one. It just sounds too dramatic or something. I do like [name_f]Ana[/name_f] & [name_f]Ani[/name_f].
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]-Very cute & fits in perfectly. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]! [name_f]Polly[/name_f], [name_u]Penny[/name_u] & [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] are also good.
[name_f]Inez[/name_f]-This is different. I feel like it’s kind of serious though. Hard to picture on a bubbly little girl. Could you do [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] as a nn?
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]-I like this a lot . And you could do [name_f]Millie[/name_f]!
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]-This has a very cheerful pretty sound. Plus, it’s unique but not overly complicated. Goes great w/your crew.
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]-Hm. I like this because the nn [name_f]Celie[/name_f] makes more sense than it does w/Cecily. But I like [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] more in general. [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] sounds almost too serious or something.
[name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]-That’s just a bit too much.
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] this! Much simpler. And it’s kind of pixie-ish, which is very cute.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]-Beautiful. Smart, spunky, old fashioned & just charming. I like it w/Letty & [name_f]Flora[/name_f] . The nns [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] are good.
Boys-
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m]-I don’t know why, but I’m not super into this one. It’s a nice enough name though . I feel like [name_u]Toby[/name_u] seems a little goofy. I’m in the minority though. People seem to like it.
[name_m]Wilfred[/name_m]-Meh, that one is just a bit snobby sounding. I kind of love [name_m]Fred[/name_m] & [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] though. [name_m]Wilf[/name_m] sounds off.
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]-Dashing & perfect w/your crew. Slightly quirky yet handsome & classic.
[name_u]Stanley[/name_u]-Meh, this is sort of geeky. But not in a cute way like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
[name_u]Sidney[/name_u]-I kind of like it, but it’s so popular for girls.
[name_m]Walter[/name_m]-I like this. It’s handsome & geeky in a sweet way!
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u]-I feel like I see this a lot. It’s kind of meh. I think that it reminds me of jester. The nn Jass is cool though. You could probably also do [name_u]Jem[/name_u] or [name_u]Jess[/name_u].
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]-Absolutely adorable & full of great nns like [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_m]Thatch[/name_m] & Thax. Getting kind of popular, but w/good reasoning.
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]-This one is really over done & doesn’t seem very special anymore.
[name_u]Miles[/name_u]-Same as above, really. As for a nn…I can’t think of anything that makes sense other than [name_f]Miley[/name_f]. Which is too [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], of course.
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m]-I love the nn options here. It’s a bit stuffy, but kind of fun & unexpected.
[name_m]Otis[/name_m]-This is adorable. It’s charming & a little artsy. Nns? Oats?
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]-Kind of cool. I mainly like it for the dashing nn of [name_u]Rafe[/name_u].
[name_m]Redmond[/name_m]-Meh, this seems old man-ish, but not in a good way.
[name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]-Really cute, smart & fun. Kind of popular, but I just love [name_u]Max[/name_u].
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m]-This is very sweet & handsome. I like it for you.
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]-A bit fancy, but I really like it. Lots of great nns like [name_m]Satch[/name_m], [name_m]Seb[/name_m], Sebby & Bash.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u]-I don’t care for this. It sounds harsh to me. I think it’s because it reminds me of the word gruff.
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]-I really like this one. It’s handsome, sporty yet gentle.
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m]-Not bad, but I can’t quite fall in love. I much prefer [name_u]Elisha[/name_u] or [name_u]Elias[/name_u] for some reason. [name_m]Way[/name_m] popular too.
[name_u]August[/name_u]-I love this one. It’s the perfect balance of old fashioned charm, artsy gentle vibes & outdoorsy-ness. Plus, [name_m]Ace[/name_m], [name_m]Augie[/name_m] & [name_u]Gus[/name_u] are all super cute.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]-Kind of stuffy to me. I prefer [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] or [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. Not bad though.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
