Hey there! I’m currently working on a dystopian novel focused on a future so fixated on beauty that, upon a young woman’s eighteenth birthday, she is categorized as either desirable or undesirable. From those groups of women, a select group of the most special and promising individuals are sent to star on two reality TV shows — The Pageant for Desirables and The Island for Undesirables. I need futuristic-sounding names for side characters in the novel. To give you a vibe of the names I’m already using, some of the names for the main characters are [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] Wolyard, [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] Wolyard, [name_m]Quinlan[/name_m] Alara, and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] Vikal. Whoa-such a cool idea for a novel! For a title I’m thinking something like “Eye of the Beholder” or something like that, since it’s kind of like the categorization depends on what that particular person sees.

Try going for the name of the country in the title, or something to do with the story line. Think “The Hunger Games”, or “[name_u]Red[/name_u] [name_f]Queen[/name_f]”, give them something the already know. Lets say you set it in The Hunger Games country, Panem, you could call it “The Fall of Panem”, “The Brave and the Beautiful”, “Insider Beauty,” “An Ugly World”, etc tec.
For names i would go with the classic at vowels kind of thing.
Boys: Riian, Coile, Rowai, Geottrin, Kasivere.
Girls: [name_f]Evangelica[/name_f], Essia, Estalia, Violan, Annya, Artemia
