[name_f]Adelina[/name_f]. It seems a little fresher to me (and I dislike [name_u]Gabbie[/name_u] as a nickname for Gabriella).
I think they’re both cute but prefer the nicknames associated with [name_f]Adelina[/name_f] (Addie / Lina). [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is nice for [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] but most will probably default to [name_u]Gabbie[/name_u] as a nickname which, in my opinion is not great.

[name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], though I dislike [name_u]Gabby[/name_u]. I much prefer [name_f]Adeliza[/name_f] to [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] though.
@helenarellson Adelina!! [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] is close to my name and I don’t care for the go-to nickname [name_u]Gabby[/name_u]. If you specify what nickname you would want for [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], I think you could avoid the automatic [name_u]Gabby[/name_u].

[name_f]Lena[/name_f] or [name_f]Lina[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
Follow your heart! Both names beautiful, and I don’t think you can go wrong to be honest. I am simply sharing my preference.

I love Gabriella! I think it’s a classic I also love all the Gab, Gabby, Gabs nicknames.
Adelina is nice, but I could see it getting lost in a sea of long vowel-heavy girl names. (I say this as the mom of a preschooler with that type of name, in the U.S.) I think Adele or Adeline leave more of an impact.
