A thought on the girl’s first name “[name]Lake[/name]” with the last name [name]Law[/name]. It has to start with L. I know many people don’t care for alliteration, but that’s the plan here.
Daddy’s name is [name]Mike[/name] and his problem his whole life, he says, is that [name]Mike[/name] flows into [name]Law[/name] so it sounds like “[name]Mike[/name] Claw” which he hates. “[name]Lake[/name] [name]Law[/name]” obviously does the same thing.
However if you don’t like it…help me out. What’s another gender neutral name that isn’t [name]Lark[/name], [name]Lila[/name] or [name]Lilly[/name] (vetoed by dad) but starts with L. [name]One[/name] syllable preferred.
Niece and Nephew are [name]Lane[/name] & [name]Lauren[/name]…good suggestions! I am suddenly liking [name]Louise[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name]. [name]Lulu[/name]? [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Law[/name] is clearly ridiculous for a life long name, but not when you’re two. I should go with [name]Lala[/name] and then she’ll be able to say her name when she’s 6 months old (lalala…Kidding, only kidding) Thanks for the input so far.
As an aside, I love the sound of [name]Lux[/name], but I hate the underlying meaning…[name]Lux[/name], Luxury. I don’t want a name that signifies any appreciation of material things. Too bad because this is such a great up-and-comer among Berries right now.
[name]Larkin[/name].
It’s not monosyllabic, but it’s gender-neutral and sounds wonderful with [name]Law[/name], [name]Larkin[/name] [name]Law[/name]. Awesome ^^
[name]Lorne[/name]
[name]Leal[/name]
[name]Leece[/name]
Lis/[name]Lys[/name]
Lais/Laise/Laes- sounds like lazy without the y; may lead to teasing
[name]Luce[/name]
The first name that comes to mind is [name]Logan[/name], maybe some of these though:
[name]Laken[/name]
[name]Lux[/name]
[name]Leni[/name]
Lexyn
[name]Laine[/name]
[name]Leighton[/name]
[name]Lennon[/name]
