If you don’t recall I was trying to find an ‘[name_f]Eve[/name_f]’ name. My partner and I loved [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Evadne[/name_f] but we had an uproar when someone suggested [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] and she won! So I am wondering what do you think of her? [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] “[name_f]Eve[/name_f]”
Any middle name ideas (please try not to use names in signature already - apart from "thinking…’ names). [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to browse my listography.
I am liking [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] & [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] but not sure if the flow is ok. Both middle names are a nod to music influence factors, one being a song my partner and I like also a nod to [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] (favourite old school Hollywood [name_f]Starlet[/name_f]) and the other to a band that, well, I wouldn’t have been here if it were not for one of their songs.
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f] is a good name! It has a nice sound, isn’t overused and I love the nicknames, especially [name_f]Eve[/name_f].
Fun fact, I know an Evanthia ([name_f]Evanthe[/name_f] in Greek) who goes by [name_f]Evie[/name_f]!
Out of the two options, I prefer [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. I feel like it makes the name a bit spunkier. But your other choice is good too!
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f]
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Geneva[/name_f]!! If [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] wasn’t so high of my list, [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] would be there instead! [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] is lovely!!
Oh gosh. Yeah, we butchered it. Most of the time it came out along the lines of “gen-EVR-ah” it got worse as we finished the scotch (long story but we made a drinking game with different names)
Oh, I think that was me that suggested [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] in your thread, so obviously I think it’s a good name! I think it’s in that sweet spot where the dust is just beginning to come off, so it’s very familiar, sounds fresh, easy to spell, easy to pronounce, and no one is using it.
I really like [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. It’s unique yet classic and gets a dash of spunk from [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] means something along the lines of sea-lake, and the city [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] is on the bank of a large lake, so it makes me think of the waterfront in [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] in the summer with bees buzzing around. It would be fantastic to take a special trip there one day with [name_f]Geneva[/name_f].
I love slightly unexpected nickname/full name combinations and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] “[name_f]Eve[/name_f]”.
I like that it’s elegant, I like that it’s unusual, I like that there are other nickname options like [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] and [name_u]Nev[/name_u] just in case [name_f]Eve[/name_f] doesn’t fit. I just love it so much.
Sorry for the late reply been on mobile mostly and haven’t checked in my older posts :o
Yes, it was you! I remember the convo that followed about how the sheep need like a space helmet (we thought it was in space, we are watching a lot of Stargate [name_f]Atlantis[/name_f] and Universe lately)
We decided to go with [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] for my love of Good Charlotte & DH thinks [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] is to [name_m]Manson[/name_m] related…
I love [name_f]Geneva[/name_f]! [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] is genius. I’m not going to suggest others because not only is that one darling but it’s meaningful to you and I can’t top that.
No problem, I’m just glad to be a productive member of the community. Ha, the sheep in my profile does have laser eyes and a robotic arm, though.
Harlow is beautiful too, a bit more autumnal, and it has a great sentimental meaning for you. I can certainly understand the Manson association, although the first Marilyn that comes to my mind is Marilyn Munster.
