I really love both of these names so it’s very hard to choose! I love to see [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] on a list because it’s so pretty and I feel like I never see it pop up. So I voted for [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] just because it feels so timeless and never gets the love it deserves.
I live in US (California). Aesthetically, I tend to be drawn to [name_f]French[/name_f], Latin, and Spanish names. [name_f][/name_f] I also like [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but currently not quite as much. [name_f][/name_f] Given family history, my baby will likely have dark hair and dark eyes and will be of white, Mexican, and some Filipino ancestry.
I love both names, but prefer [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] as a first name! [name_f][/name_f] I think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] would be BEAUTIFUL though! [name_f][/name_f] I do like [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] better with a potential brother [name_m]Nico[/name_m], though, if that matters to you.
I voted for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but really I love both equally. Both [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] sound good together.
That helps. I think they both suit dark featured girls. Some mid point names you might like: Maribel, Marisol, Leonor, Paloma, Celeste, Isadora, Camille, Delphine, Elodie, or Noemi(e).
My only reservation with Genevieve is I don’t like nn Gen/ Genny. If you like Vivi, Evie or Neve, then would work for me (lol). I would pick Marcella with the extra info.
I also love [name_f]Camille[/name_f] (though not Cami). [name_f][/name_f] I also dislike [name_f]Gen[/name_f], [name_f]Genny[/name_f], [name_f]Gena[/name_f], etc. I was thinking [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], although I love the full name [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. If [name_f]Marcella[/name_f], I would call her by her full name.
