Mine’s a bit of an essay, but here it is!
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]June[/name] - I love the sophisticated yet “gritty” and charming feel to [name]Eleanor[/name]. She makes me smile. I love that she has [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] approval and history that takes her back that far. And even though I don’t put too much stock in meaning, I love that one of the supposed meanings is “bright, shining light” - it just reminds me of hope and stars. [name]June[/name] is my grandmother’s middle name. I have never doubted honoring her - she was my best friend and the strongest, most precious person I have ever known, enduring metastatic breast cancer for over two decades. As it happens, I discovered my love for [name]Eleanor[/name] as I was struggling through grieving for my beloved grandmother - and that name, above all, represented hope - something that I had not truly put faith in for a long time - and love. And that is beautiful to me.
