Gentleman James, or Lady Jane?

Would you rather have a boy named [name_u]James[/name_u] or a girl named [name_f]Jane[/name_f]? My fav names for the respective genders, but obviously [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] can’t be siblings. What do you think?

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] for sure! Classic and beautiful and underused. [name_u]James[/name_u] is cute but soooo popular.

I love both but [name_f]Jane[/name_f] has been one of my top girl names for years, so I’d have to go with [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

This is literally my husband and and his sister, except he goes by [name_m]Jake[/name_m].

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] is adorable; I’d go with that. [name_u]James[/name_u] is far too popular imo.

Agreed with the comments on [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I’m pleasantly surprised by how unpopular she is now, and that definitely puts her ahead of [name_u]James[/name_u] for me.

I love [name_u]James[/name_u] but actually find [name_f]Jane[/name_f] kind of plain.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] because I hear it way less.

I much prefer [name_u]James[/name_u] as a name but I’d go with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] in practice since [name_u]James[/name_u] is just so popular at the moment

I’d go with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as first name and I’d use [name_u]James[/name_u] as middle name for the boy

Girl named [name_f]Jane[/name_f]! It’s also my mom’s name so I guess it has personal meaning.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] is such a sweet and understated name, that is definitely my choice!
As for [name_u]James[/name_u], I prefer the less common alternative, [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]!

I have always adored the name [name_u]James[/name_u], so I’d have a [name_u]James[/name_u]. I don’t care how popular it is.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] is also lovely, I would happily use it as a first name if I didn’t have a [name_u]James[/name_u] (it’s S/Os name, so I’m not going to have a [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or a [name_u]James[/name_u]!). I would be more likely to use [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as an honour middle name though.

I would have used [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl, but since its not what you asked, then definitely [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_u]James[/name_u] seems boring to me.
