Yes or no? I like it, my mom doesn’t. Opinions?
I like it - classic first name with a Biblical middle name.
I like it. I’d like to meet more little boys named [name]George[/name], and [name]George[/name] [name]Asher[/name] is a very handsome, pleasant, slightly unexpected choice; slightly unexpected, I think, because [name]Asher[/name] is moving up the charts as a first name.
My personal inclination would be to pick a longer, perhaps even more unusual Biblical middle name:
[name]George[/name] [name]Nicodemus[/name]
[name]George[/name] [name]Tobias[/name]
[name]George[/name] [name]Demetrius[/name]
[name]George[/name] [name]Adonijah[/name], etc.
But that’s just me. You may not like those styles or rhythms.
Also, if you’re just making sure that other people out there do like this name and that not everyone is going, like your mom, to react with distaste, that’s fine. And if you’re expecting a baby, the name decision is yours, not your parents’, though it’s always a big plus if your folks love the name you choose. But don’t make a big deal of it if you can help it. That’s just my two cents.
Best wishes!
