Me again! Still working on naming our second son with a “G” name that goes with [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] (our firstborn, who goes by [name_u]Bert[/name_u]). If we do [name_u]George[/name_u] (my husband’s first choice) is there a good nickname that ends in a nice hard sound? [name_m]Greg[/name_m], [name_m]Garret[/name_m], [name_m]Grant[/name_m] are all out. Thank you!
Hmmm, that’s difficult! [name_f]Every[/name_f] “hard sound ending” nickname I feel like is a bit of a stretch- but maybe [name_m]Rig[/name_m] or [name_m]Ridge[/name_m]?
My go-to [name_u]George[/name_u] nicknames would be [name_m]Geo[/name_m] or [name_u]Georgie[/name_u], neither of which ends in a hard sound. [name_u]Bert[/name_u] and [name_m]Geo[/name_m] would be really sweet together, though!
Geordie?
Jett is all I can think of…
Geord/Jord is the only nickname for [name_u]George[/name_u] I can think of that ends in a consonant.
The abbreviation for [name_u]George[/name_u] is [name_m]Geo[/name_m]. so maybe [name_m]Geo[/name_m] or [name_u]Gio[/name_u] could work.
My go to would be [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] or [name_m]Geo[/name_m], like previously mentioned by others.
Maybe…
JoJo
[name_m]Joe[/name_m]
[name_u]Jori[/name_u]
Jug
[name_m]Jordy[/name_m]
[name_m]Gordy[/name_m]
[name_f]Gidget[/name_f]
Giddy
Gid
[name_m]Gee[/name_m] / G
I think [name_m]Geo[/name_m] is a cute nickname for [name_u]George[/name_u]
Geo or [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] perhaps.
Geord/Jord seems to best fill the bill. Maybe [name_u]Gus[/name_u], [name_m]Jed[/name_m]/Ged or [name_m]Jip[/name_m]/Gip are a bit far from the original [name_u]George[/name_u]?
