Which do you like best and why?
[name_f]TIA[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] (strong but feminine) or [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] (romantic, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] name) over [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not a fan of the -gina sound, generally. Though I think [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is the most spunky.
It has to be [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] for me, but only as [name_m]George[/name_m]-ee-[name_m]AH[/name_m]-nuh. It’s one of my favourite names; beautiful, and elegant, with some really lovely imagery, greatly enhanced by the character in Pride and Prejudice. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] are nice enough, but they just don’t have the same spark and intrigue as [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] has.
I also like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] the best. I’ve met a few Georgias (all Australians) and they are some of my favorite women! As others have mentioned, [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is most famous from [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u]. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] doesn’t seem to get shortened to anything but I could imagine [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] being shorted to [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_u]Georgie[/name_u], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], or [name_f]Giana[/name_f]. [name_m]George[/name_m] on a woman has been a favorite since reading [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_u]Drew[/name_u] as a girl!
Interestingly I seem to have a different opinion to most of the other posters!
Whilst I like all three names, [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is by far my favourite. It’s such a strong, spunky name, with a host of fab nickname choices.
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is my favourite too. I love it, I think it sounds really strong but beautiful.
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] by far! I adore this name.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] because it’s strong yet feminine and it’s my sisters name, she has a big personality and this suits her perfectly! We called her [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_u]Georgie[/name_u], [name_m]George[/name_m] and G.
I love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. It would be on my short list if I didn’t adore [name_m]George[/name_m] so much. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is friendly, approachable, and sweet. I am personally not fond of [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f].
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] could be my pick (Duchess of Devonshire), but for me, pronunciation is really confusing.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I don’t like the ‘gina’ in [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is overly pretentious imo.
Same here! [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] feels fresher while the other two feel dated/trendy to me.
I like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] best of all. The other two are too frilly for my taste.
I think [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is my favorite. I think it’s simpler than [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] and sounds a bit prettier than [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I still think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is a great choice, but if I was going to pick one, it would definitely be [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]. In order, it would go: 1. [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], 2. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], 3. [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is my favourite! The other are too frilly for me. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is sweet but strong.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is so soft and sweet, plus who doesn’t love all that southern charm of a [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] peach!
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] has spunk and style and I totally see [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] going by [name_u]Georgie[/name_u].
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is glamorous but a little too fussy for me.
Honestly, choosing between [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] would really just depend on what of mood I’m in. Today, I’d probably go with the fiesty [name_f]Georgina[/name_f].
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is my favorite
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is definitely my favourite:)
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is quite popular but also familiar and always lovely. I personally love [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] just for its extra flare and elegance. [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is still beautiful as well but I don’t love it as much as the others.
I like [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] best.
