Georgia Jasper?

What do you think of using the name [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] in the middle spot for a girl? I was just looking up other jewel names for a possible future middle spot if we ever had a girl, we might name her [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]… and I suggested to my hubby [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Jewel[/name_f], he said no, I said [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], he said no, then he said what about [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]? I lived in the Rockies for 6 months in [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] so it would have added significance. Does it make the name too masculine?

A little odd sounding. But [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] isn’t my style anyway…

It’s too repetitive for me, in the same way [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] would be. Does it have to be a J name for [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]? I have [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] on my list, and I like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Sapphire[/name_f] as well.

I think it could work if it’s the name you both love

It’s a really heavy alliteration. I prefer [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

I think [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is fine on a girl; I consider most nature names pretty unisex. I don’t particularly like it with [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], though. Since they start with the same sound and are both two syllables it’s kind of repetitive.

Maybe the names together sound a little repetitive, I think [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] wouldn’t be a problem for a girls middle though.

It runs together. Keep [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and find a different middle.

Bad flow. Plus [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is a boys name and sounds silly for a girl.

I would choose a different middle. I’m not completely opposed to [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] on a girl, especially in the middle spot, but [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is too heavy on the J sounds.

I don’t mind [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] in the middle for a girl, especially as it is a place name and has some meaning to you, but as others have said, the three J sounds in a row is a bit too much alliteration for me.

I’m not a fan of the repeated J sound. While I realize [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is also a stone, I also don’t care it on a girl.

I like the suggestion of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

I have really been crushing on [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] for a girl lately. I agree that the alliteration is something to consider, but middles get so little use anyway. I am just excited to see someone else suggest this!
