Wow, it’s hard to say. To me, [name]Georgia[/name] has an interesting tension of sounding a little aristocratic, yet fun Southern sassy. The double G sound makes it really strong.
[name]Sage[/name] is a completely different kind of name. It’s very much one thing, which is what makes it strong. I think of [name]Sage[/name] as being soft, wise, and never silly. Also, [name]Sage[/name] has a bit of a mystical feeling, because of the healing and ritual uses of the plant. If that resonates for you, then go with [name]Sage[/name].
I guess if I take the names at face-value, I vote for [name]Georgia[/name], simply because it’s more versatile.

I really like both, but I feel [name]Georgia[/name] stands out more. [name]Georgia[/name] gets my vote!

SO difficult… I love love love both names (DH vetoed both for gender surprise baby due in 2 weeks) but I think I might have to go with [name]Georgia[/name]… this was a long time favorite but a friend used it for her dog so it went off the radar, then I thought, oh well and went back on… just love it so much. I agree that [name]Georg[/name]/[name]Georgie[/name] is cute and spunky but that [name]Georgia[/name] is a great adult name, I also had a teacher named Georgialee and she was such a sweetie, and a southern belle for sure. [name]Sage[/name] is strong and sweet and wise and equally as beautiful I feel. You have 2 beautiful choices and you can’t really go wrong. Are you set on a middle name yet…? That might sway me more  Otherwise [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name] would make a lovely combo!! Keep us posted!

Wow, I find this thread very ironic, as [name]Georgia[/name]/[name]Georgie[/name] is one of my very favorite names, and my maiden name is [name]Sage[/name]. (I love [name]Georgie[/name] so much its the nn I call my BF and his name is [name]Todd[/name]…so…But yeah, both beautiful names for sure!..I second the suggestion if you dont have a special middlename to go with [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name]!..That is stunning!..Good luck…

I like both but not sure about [name]Georgia[/name] G___. It might be a lot

The fact that the hubs vetoed every other nature name but is agreeing to [name]Sage[/name] would make me jump to use it (first or middle)

[name]Love[/name] [name]Sage[/name]. Hate [name]Georgia[/name].

Wow, this is a tough choice! [name]Both[/name] are great names! I voted for [name]Georgia[/name] as I just like the sound a feel of it slightly better, and I also find it easier to say with your last name. [name]Sage[/name] G… is a little hard to say. Not terrible, but the “a” at the end of [name]Georgia[/name] makes the name flow better.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! We are thinking of Joylyn or Joylin for a middle name, which would be a combo of both our mother’s names… But are not set on it. I do love [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name] now that you mention it. You guys give such insightful feedback. It looks like most of you lean toward [name]Georgia[/name] as a choice. You’re right, she is very versatile.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name].

[name]Georgia[/name] is gorgeous. [name]Georgie[/name], [name]Gigi[/name] or [name]Gia[/name] are all cute options.

[name]Sage[/name] is pretty in meaning but visually sag & age put me off. Soundwise I don’t love it either. I don’t like that it has no nickname potential. But I think it’s really cute in the middle. I group it with [name]Fern[/name] or [name]Nell[/name] or [name]Olive[/name] when it comes to general feel/image/vibe…it’s less lively than [name]Georgia[/name], more quirky/studious somehow?

Meanwhile [name]Georgia[/name] feels lively, bright, extroverted, sweet, fun. And I just like saying it better.

I like them both for different reasons! [name]Both[/name] are quite different in style.

I’d say [name]Georgia[/name] will stand the test of time more and [name]Sage[/name] is a bit trendy.

I voted for [name]Georgia[/name]. My only concern is that Gerogia Joylin is kind of a mouthful with a last names beginning with a hard G sound.

Good luck!

[name]Georgia[/name] is one of my favourite names ever! I love it. Its girly but not too frilly, and powerful. [name]Just[/name] gorgeous x

I prefer [name]Georgia[/name], but I also like [name]Sage[/name]. Unfortunately, I agree with a previous poster that Joylyn is too much next to [name]Georgia[/name]. I do , however, agree with everyone that [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name] is gorgeous.

I vote for [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name]. Beautiful!

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] and would use her in a heartbeat but dh doesn’t appreciate her beauty like I do. My vote went to [name]Georgia[/name]!

I vote for [name]Georgia[/name].

[name]Georgia[/name]. Although I really like [name]Sage[/name] aswell but it’s a bit too trendy for me.

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Georgia[/name]! What about [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name]?

I’ll give another vote to [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Sage[/name]. I love the sound and meaning for [name]Sage[/name] (wisdom - in [name]German[/name] it means myth) and since [name]Georgia[/name] has been a favorite all along I think it would be perfect.
