I got this name (pronounced Jor-jay-nuh) from the movie The Duchess starring [name]Keira[/name] Knightley as [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Spencer[/name].
What do you think? And what two middle names would you pair it with?

I haven’t seen the movie, but whenever I have heard the name before it’s been pronounced as [name]George[/name]-ee-ah-na?
I like the pronounciation that I’m familiar with and think its a nice classic name that isn’t overused at all, but I’m not 100% sure about the other pronounciation? It sounds a little too much like [name]Georgina[/name] to me.
I love it! I’ve heard the jor-jay-nah pronunciation, but I like jor-jee-ah-nah even more. I love the Pride and Prejudice reference, and I just love the name in general! I find it so gorgeous, and absolutely more appealing than all other [name]Georgie[/name] options.
I’m not sure about combos, maybe [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Iris[/name] or [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Wren[/name]?
I like [name]Georgiana[/name] well enough, though [name]Georgina[/name] and [name]Georgia[/name] place higher for me. It’s a regal name.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Fleur[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Dove[/name]
Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, so a big thumbs up
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Elaine[/name] [name]Adele[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Carys[/name] [name]Elaine[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] is such a beautiful name! I also prefer jor-jee-ah-nah pronunciation.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
I love [name]Georgiana[/name], but my preferred pronunciation is Geor-gee-anna. I would use one middle name. If you want two mns, I suggest using uncomplicated ones… like [name]Mae[/name], [name]Christine[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Elise[/name].
I like it, but I think it’s a bit like [name]Ralph[/name] pronounced [name]Rafe[/name]- definitely associated with titled British landowner types (and evidently long has been). If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a lovely classic name (it is on paper in any case!), but definitely be prepared for a little eye-rolling from non-titled non-land-owning people
I prefer the Jor-jee-ah-nuh pronunciation, and while it ranks over [name]Georgia[/name], [name]Georgina[/name] ranks above both for me.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
I love it, and I liked it since seeing the movie [I own it], and I only like it pronounced the British way. It’s on my list. I don’t use two middles, my combo is: [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Frances[/name].
“The British” way meaning Jor-jay-nuh? That’s how it was pronounced in the movie. I don’t care for the Jor-gee-anna pronunciation.
I’m from [name]England[/name] and we would pronounce it [name]Georg[/name]-ee-ah-na here. I’m not sure why they pronounce it differently in the movie, I may have to watch it now to try to understand hehe.
I’m from [name]England[/name] too, and I’d pronounce it is the way it’s done in the movie, JORJ-ee-nə. But it’s just as normal to say JORJ-ee-ah-nə.
I live [name]Evelyn[/name], but I’m not a big fan of [name]Charlotte[/name]. [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Violet[/name]? [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Lily[/name]?
I adore this name with that pronunciation - stunning. jor-jee-ah-na just doesn’t compare, [name]IMO[/name].
Ditto. I think perhaps it’s like [name]Helena[/name]; a name with lots of different pronunciations.
I absolutely love this name; it is one of my very favourites.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Eve[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Eileen[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
Alternately, you could stick to [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] names, for a classic, Pride and Prejudice feel.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Mary[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Susan[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Emma[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Frances[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
