Georgie- Boys name or Girls name?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is better suited as a girl name or a boy name? What would you think if you heard the name on a girl? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know any [name_u]Georgie[/name_u]’s? Thank you

I know a [name_m]George[/name_m] nn [name_u]Georgie[/name_u], and a [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I prefer [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] on a boy, of course.

I like it for a girl. I had a cat named [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] who was a girl but everyone assumed she was a boy with her name ”

I knew a girl called Jorjee in high school. People that didn’t know how it was spelled never had a problem grasping a girl [name_m]George[/name_m]. At least your [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] can just say it’s spelled the normal way", instead of having to explain it’s spelled differently.

Some of my family have boy names on girls, [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_u]Luca[/name_u] and [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] (2, 9 and 11 years old) for example. They are all girls and even go to school with some girls with the same names.

I think [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is cute and usable.

I love it on a girl and boy. I knew a [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] who went by [name_m]George[/name_m] and it worked so well on her.

I think [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is a great nickname for a boy or a girl but not a full name for either.
My niece [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] goes by [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] Girl.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], and [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] are all great ways to get a [name_u]Georgie[/name_u].

[name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is perfectly unisex to me. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to meet a girl with the name!

I think [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is all boy. But you could do [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgette[/name_f] or something with the nn [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] for a girl.
