I voted for [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. I’m not a huge fan of the -wen endings with your other children’s names; -wen is super Welsh/British to me, like [name_f]Carys[/name_f], but [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] give me a more [name_m]French[/name_m] vibe (I know the [name_m]French[/name_m] is [name_u]Adrien[/name_u], but still). That sort of divides the sibset into separate origins, which I don’t love. I think [name_f]Maren[/name_f] fits well and it also avoids repeating an initial.
I think [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] fits best with your other children’s names as it is soft and sweet like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Carys[/name_f]. However, I’ve always loved [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], and paired with [name_f]Elise[/name_f] it is so beautiful! So, while I don’t think it fits as well with your other children’s name, [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is my favorite of the four.
My vote goes to [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]. I like the tailored-ness to tie in [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] but yet it’s entirely feminine enough to stand up to [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Carys[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. I love the way it looks, the way it sounds, and its meaning. It’s totally underused in my opinion.
definitely [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] is too similar to [name_f]Carys[/name_f] and doesn’t have any spark imho (might be related to knowing some rather unpleasant Marens/Marins) and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], while beautiful, feel too whimsical next to your other kids’s names.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] or [name_f]Maren[/name_f] would be my pick.
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is beautiful (all of these are lovely tbh though, so i dont think you can go wrong)
[name_u]Love[/name_u] all the feedback, thanks everyone!!!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]!
I voted for [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. I’m not even sure why it’s my favorite - I just like the way it sounds and think it can go soft or spunky.
I’ve gotten mixed reviews on [name_f]Maren[/name_f], some seem to think it’s feminine and goes with my other girl’s names and others seem to think it’s not very feminine…this has been one of the biggest struggles for me with this name.
I would go with either [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] or [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], I think the fit the best stylistically with the siblings.
First off, I must say you have chosen some beautiful names! I have a huge soft spot for [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] but I chose [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] because it sounds so delicate and I love it paired with the cool vibe of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. Good luck
I think they’re all great! I like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] best, but I wouldn’t use it because of [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], and what if they both wanted to go by [name_f]Elle[/name_f] / [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]? Second is quite close and is [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] so pretty! I think they’re all lovely though!
In the end I chose [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], though it was a tough call betwen that and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. In the end [name_f]Maren[/name_f] won out because I feel it balances out better with her siblings’ names, especially as [name_f]Carys[/name_f] would be the only name starting with a consonant otherwise. [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely, but I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is slightly overused in the middle spot these days, [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is refreshing.
I like both of your other options too, but I personally wouldn’t want to repeat an initial.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a family name and I liked the way it sounded with [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and I couldn’t really come up with other combinations that both DH and I agreed on. I do have hesitations with it though given that it feels like a filler name. I’m open to different middle names for [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].
