Getting to "Fi"

I’m not sure why, but I love the nickname “Fi…” However, I’m having trouble thinking of proper names to get to that nn. Any thoughts? Names that I can think of are:

  • [name]Sofia[/name]
  • [name]Fiona[/name]
  • [name]Serafina[/name]
  • [name]Phoebe[/name] (that’s my dog’s name… so that’s a no-go. lol)

Thanks,
[name]Kate[/name]

[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Philippa[/name]
[name]Filomena[/name]

I love Fi too! You could go with [name]Fia[/name] which means raven and I guess is a diminutive of [name]Fiachna[/name]. I have a tattoo of a bluebird and I named it [name]Fia[/name]. Looked forever for a longer name but [name]Fia[/name] was just perfect as is!

What about…

[name]Felicity[/name]
Fiametta
[name]Filomela[/name]
[name]Finola[/name]
[name]Fiorella[/name]
?

[name]Ophelia[/name] -if you can get past the [name]Hamlet[/name] connotation it actually has a very pretty meaning “helper”. I think it would be adorable on a little girl and a name that she could grow into.

I think the other suggestions are more obvious but also…

[name]Delphine[/name]
[name]Fidela[/name] (too much like Castro?)
[name]Seraphina[/name]
[name]Theophila[/name]
