I voted for [name]Leo[/name], but [name]Leandro[/name]/ [name]Leander[/name] work too, and I love those.
If you don’t like the longer versions, just go with [name]Leo[/name]. The only other version I can think of that hasn’t already been mentioned is [name]Leonidas[/name]. Or something like [name]Aurelio[/name], nickname [name]Lio[/name].
I prefer just [name]Leo[/name].
I voted for [name]Lionel[/name], it’s one of my favorites and on my list. If it sounds better w/ your ln I would use it w/ [name]Leo[/name] as the nn.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Elliot[/name], nickname [name]Leo[/name]?? Any thoughts?
I love [name]Leo[/name] and know a few boys with this name under 5. My husbands middle name is [name]Leonard[/name], and we had tossed around using [name]Leo[/name] as a mn to honor him (and did use [name]Leona[/name] to do just that) and sometimes I wish I would have just used [name]Leonard[/name] with the nn [name]Leo[/name] for one of our boys since its such a cool name. (And [name]Leonard[/name] is DH’s grandfathers name too)
[name]Lionel[/name] with the nn [name]Leo[/name] seems like a stretch, but it could work. I do like [name]Leonardo[/name] and [name]Leon[/name]. [name]Leo[/name] can stand alone and often times does, but I prefer longer names that can be shortened.
