While I like it, I think it’s a little cute-sy so I’d only use it as a nn.

I love [name_f]Ginger[/name_f], though I would name her [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]. I also adore [name_f]Ginnie[/name_f].

I like it. Spunky, fun, easy to say and spell, and not over-used. (I also like [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] and [name_u]Pepper[/name_u]!)

I’m not keen personally, but I can appreciate its merits as a fun quirky-retro pick. And [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] [name_m]Rogers[/name_m] is a great namesake!

I would use [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] as the formal name & [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] as a possible nickname. It’s adorable, but [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] provides more options as the child grows up.

This is very much a guilty pleasure of mine but I could never imagine using it on a real child.

I really love [name_f]Ginger[/name_f], actually. It’s on my own list, though it would probably have to be a nickname should I ever actually use it.

I only know it as a nn for [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] and now as the [name_f]Jinger[/name_f] Duggar sister on TV.
It’s a cute name, but I’d use the J spelling because it doesn’t make me immediately think of ginger bread or ginger cookie.
