Ginny as a full name

Thoughts on using [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] as a full name, instead of as a nickname for [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]/[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]/[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and the like?

I went to school with a [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] that went by [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] and my brother dated a girl with the full name [name_f]Ginny[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] works as a full name.

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f]…

I think it’s great! I’m a big fan of using the name you love and are actually going to say everyday, even if it’s usually a nickname. I don’t think [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] is too weird, out there or childish to not use as a full name.

Yes, [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] is lovely and works as a standalone in my opinion.
