Girl C Name Help!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! [name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl #2 is due to arrive in [name_f]October[/name_f] and we are struggling to come up with a name. Our first daughter is [name_f]Calla[/name_f]. We [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] her name and are having a hard time matching it. We’d like to stick with the C theme as it’s a family tradition. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is the top of our list now, but I don’t love it like I loved [name_f]Calla[/name_f]'s name from the start. Our last name is [name_m]Dooley[/name_m], so a lot of -ey, -ie…names don’t sound great. Thank you for any suggestions!!

Btw I think names like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Calla[/name_f] because of multiple of the same sounds.
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_u]Carmen[/name_u]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Carys[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Celina[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f]

[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_u]Connie[/name_u]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Crystal[/name_f]

My favourite name right now is [name_f]Clara[/name_f], although that may be too similar to [name_f]Calla[/name_f] for you (beautiful name by the way)

I like the idea of:

[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] (this is my favourite with [name_f]Calla[/name_f])
Cienna
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Ciera[/name_f]

I would not choose another two syllable name ending in “a.” I think the two names will be too close to one another and will have the problem of getting mixed up.

Here are some names to consider…

[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] - This is my first choice!!!
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] ([name_f]Cate[/name_f])
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Cosette[/name_f]

I would consider these names ending in “a” because they are three syllables and not two…

[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] ([name_f]Cassie[/name_f])
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Camilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Calista[/name_f]

[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Carys[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Chantel[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_u]Cheyenne[/name_u]
[name_f]Ciara[/name_f]
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f]

[name_f]Calla[/name_f] I’d never heard of until I read this, I absolutely love it!

[name_u]Clove[/name_u] was my first thought. [name_f]Calla[/name_f] & [name_u]Clove[/name_u]. [name_u]Clove[/name_u] or [name_f]Clover[/name_f] also share the flower connection.

Also love [name_f]Clorissa[/name_f] & [name_f]Calla[/name_f].

[name_f]Ceridwen[/name_f] shares the beautiful meaning with [name_f]Calla[/name_f]. I love welsh names but they aren’t for everyone.

[name_f]Camellia[/name_f] shares the flower meaning with [name_f]Calla[/name_f]. Also [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Camilla[/name_f].

All great C names in my opinion!
Good luck
