My husband and I are currently trying for baby #2 and I need help determining a girls name…
When we had our first we had the named [name]Iris[/name] picked out for a girl but we ended up with a boy ([name]Weston[/name] nn [name]Wes[/name]). I still love [name]Iris[/name] but now a few other names have caught my attention and I’m not so sure anymore. Last name is [name]Booth[/name]
Here are the names I currently like
[name]Honora[/name]
[name]Temperance[/name] (is this too out there?)
[name]Coral[/name] or [name]Cora[/name]
[name]Bristol[/name] (love it but not sure with last name)
[name]Honora[/name] - I really like this, and I like [name]Annora[/name], too. However, it seems very stylistically mismatched with [name]Weston[/name]. I think [name]Honor[/name] or just [name]Nora[/name] would work much better.
[name]Temperance[/name] - I want to like this, like other unusual virtue names ([name]Prudence[/name], [name]Constance[/name], etc.), but it really just isn’t attractive to me.
[name]Coral[/name] or [name]Cora[/name] - I like [name]Cora[/name], not [name]Coral[/name]. [name]Cora[/name] was on our short list for our youngest, but in the end, dh decided he didn’t really like it.
[name]Bristol[/name] - [name]Palin[/name] will be EVERYONE’S first though. And it sounds like a cartoon caracther with [name]Booth[/name], sorry.
[name]Iris[/name] helena [name]Simone[/name] - I don’t love [name]Helena[/name] & [name]Simone[/name] is ok, but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Iris[/name]. It’s very different from [name]Weston[/name], style-wise, but I think it works.
Ohh, I just thought of something. [name]Temperance[/name] is the name of the main female character on Bones. [name]Booth[/name] is the main male character. Something to think about, maybe. I’d go with [name]Iris[/name] or [name]Cora[/name] from your list.
[name]Iris[/name] [name]Helena[/name] [name]Simone[/name]- What a lovely combo!
[name]Honora[/name]- I prefer [name]Annora[/name].
