I really love the baby girl name Camri, but my SO is worried that people will make fun of the name because of the Toyota [name_f]Camry[/name_f]. Is the name Camri just setting my girl up to be made fun of?
i think it’s great! I used to have [name_u]Camryn[/name_u] nn [name_f]Camry[/name_f] on my list and I thought the car reference would be an issue too (especially with that spelling), but cars are pretty popular names i.e. [name_u]Bentley[/name_u], [name_m]Forde[/name_m], [name_f]Porsche[/name_f], etc.
I like Camri as well! Perhaps your significant other would consider [name_f]Cambri[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Cambria[/name_f]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] a possible compromise!

Yes…my first thought was ‘like the car?’ [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]? [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u]? I’d opt for [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], and nn [name_f]Calli[/name_f].
