My husband and I are delighted to be expecting a baby girl this spring. I am looking for suggestions to go with our surname; Hazeldine.
Some names we have considered are listed below. I welcome your thoughts and/or new suggestions!
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangelina[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
Since you last name is somewhat long you might want to consider shorter firsts such as:
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Iva[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_m]Lael[/name_m]
[name_f]Lea[/name_f]
[name_u]Lisa[/name_u] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Tess[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Nell[/name_f]
and your suggestion of [name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is lovely if long but has many nn possibilities like [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_f]Lotta[/name_f] and [name_f]Callie[/name_f]
What a last name! It’s a lovely mouthful, which kinda makes me want a simpler first name to pair with it. So of your choices [name_f]Eva[/name_f] works best for me.
As soon as I read your last name, I thought the same as the above poster that said you should use a shorter name. In fact, as soon as I saw your last name, the FIRST name that popped in my head was [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f] (like another poster above suggested)…I also second the above suggestions of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] Hazeldine is adorable!!!
I do like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], but my husband isn’t so keen. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Constance[/name_f] are also cute!
