I have a 1 year old daughter named [name_f]Lydia[/name_f].
I’m due in [name_u]July[/name_u] with another girl. We love the name [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f]. My question is can we spell it [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] instead?! I don’t want them both to have y’s in their names…or should I stick with [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f]?
Does [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] look messy/funky/ugly?
I’d go with either [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] to avoid spelling issues. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] sound really lovely together.
I actually much prefer the look of [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] - or [name_f]Roslin[/name_f], like the famous Da [name_m]Vinci[/name_m] Code village in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] - over [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f]. I’ve never been a big fan of -lyn/-lynn names, to be honest.
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is a really lovely suggestion.
I think [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] looks a lot cleaner than [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f], and would prefer [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] by miles! I also like the simpler [name_f]Roslin[/name_f], but it sounds a little less flowery.
The -lyn ending holds little appeal to me.
I would go with [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] for the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] uh [name_f]Lin[/name_f] prn. I would use [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] for [name_f]Roz[/name_f] uh [name_f]Lin[/name_f] prn.
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] are beautiful together.
I also much prefer the look of [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] over [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f], but I hesitate a bit over it getting too much confused with [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
Overall, I think my favourite option would be [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. All of them are simply beautiful with [name_f]Lydia[/name_f].
[name_f]Rosalin[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] are all very pretty. [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] might be a better spelling than [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f], though. [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f] looks a bit like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] with its end chopped off, and people might pronounce it wrong. [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is also gorgeous. You can’t really go wrong with this group of names!
