My husband and I both love these two names for a girl. But we can’t decide between them. We are thinking of either [name]Margo[/name] or [name]Marissa[/name]. The middle name will be [name]Emmali[/name]. So our little girls name would be either [name]Margo[/name] [name]Emmali[/name] or [name]Marissa[/name] [name]Emmali[/name]. Please give advice on these two names.
I like both names, but I think [name]Margo[/name] is really cute and not heard that much anymore, so I’d go with that one!
However, I’d strongly suggest spelling the middle name properly as [name]Emily[/name], rather than [name]Emmali[/name], unless there’s some reason for the spelling other than just wanting to be “different”. [name]Emmali[/name] looks very trendy and made-up and will be dated in a few years… [name]Margo[/name] [name]Emily[/name] is so much prettier.
Good luck!!
Personally, I dislike both names. [name]Margo[/name] [name]Emmali[/name] works better in my opinion, though.
I like [name]Margo[/name] [name]Emmali[/name]. Very cute.
I like [name]Margo[/name] [name]Emmali[/name] but I do wonder why [name]Emmali[/name] and not [name]Emily[/name].
I much prefer [name]Marissa[/name]… I also like the spellling [name]Emily[/name] better (or the French way, [name]Emilie[/name] ) unless you have a particular reason for the [name]Emmali[/name] spelling.
I like both of these names. I think I like [name]Marissa[/name] a bit more. [name]How[/name] do you pronounce [name]Emmali[/name]? Like [name]Emily[/name] or [name]Em[/name] all e?
To all,
Thank you for the advice. I know [name]Emmali[/name] is spelled differently than the original [name]Emily[/name]. I love the name, but I know way to many [name]Emily[/name]'s. And I know it is a bit different, but it will just be her mn not her first. I don’t like any of the other spellings except for this way. As for the pronunciation when said fast it will be [name]Emily[/name], as in yelling the name or just talking fast while saying the name. But it’ll be pronounced as [name]Emma[/name]-ly. Its slightly different, but atleast its not her first name. [name]Even[/name] though I have contemplated that at some time or another. And thank you again for all the advice, we really do appreciate everything.
