Girl names with E

So E names are dominant among my favorite family women. [name]Emma[/name](my grandma) [name]Eleanor[/name](my mom) [name]Elaine[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name] (aunts). I would like to keep the E. Because I couldn’t quite say Aunt [name]Elaine[/name] as a child it came out “[name]Annie[/name] [name]Lane[/name]” and that has stuck ever since. So I’m thinking of something like

[name]Evie[/name] [name]Lane[/name]

What do you think? Other suggestions?

[name]Emeline[/name]
[name]Emery[/name]
[name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Estella[/name]
[name]Esme[/name] (pronounced “Ez-may”)

LOL…I’m an [name]Erica[/name], too!
I think [name]Evie[/name] [name]Lane[/name] is adorable! Especially with the family connection. Very cute!

Here’s a few more (just in case  )
[name]Eden[/name] (nn [name]Edie[/name])
[name]Easton[/name] (sorta boyish, but cute)
[name]Evan[/name] (ie - [name]Evan[/name] [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Wood[/name])
[name]Ellie[/name] (which can be a nickname for MANY, MANY names, too)
[name]Edith[/name] (nn [name]Edie[/name])
[name]Eileen[/name] (which sort of gets the “[name]Lane[/name]” in there too…so here I wouldn’t us mn [name]Lane[/name], and may be too close to [name]Elaine[/name]…nn could be [name]Laney[/name])
[name]Elodie[/name] (this is really growing on me) (nn [name]Ellie[/name])
[name]Eloise[/name] (nn [name]Ellie[/name])
[name]Eliana[/name] (soo cute!) (nn [name]Ellie[/name], nn [name]Ana[/name], nn [name]Lia[/name])
[name]Ellison[/name](nn [name]Ellie[/name])
[name]Eliza[/name] ( I [name]LOVE[/name] this!) (nn [name]Liza[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] )
[name]Ella[/name] (popular :frowning: )
[name]Ellery[/name] (nn [name]Ellie[/name])
[name]Ellen[/name] (nn [name]Ellie[/name])
[name]Elliot[/name] (becoming vastly more girlish) (nn [name]Ellie[/name], yeah…Lots and Lots of names can use [name]Ellie[/name])
[name]Emily[/name] (BUT it was number one forever)
[name]Emerald[/name] (a little strange for my liking) (nn [name]Emmy[/name])
[name]Emmylou[/name] (there was actually one in my highschool)
[name]Eowyn[/name] (Pronounced Ay-oh-win)
[name]Errol[/name] (although I just hear [name]Flyn[/name])
[name]Estella[/name] (nn [name]Stella[/name])
[name]Evangelique[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name])
[name]Evanna[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name])
[name]Ever[/name]/[name]Everly[/name]

[name]Evie[/name] [name]Lane[/name]

I used to think my Aunt [name]Elaine[/name]'s name was Aunty [name]Lane[/name]! I love E names, too!
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Elaine[/name]
[name]Emma[/name], but it’s too popular. Same with [name]Emily[/name].
[name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Evie[/name] (I had an Aunt [name]Evelyn[/name] who was mentally ill and always kept a packed suitcase next to the front door!)
[name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Esme[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Eleni[/name]
[name]Eden[/name]
[name]Edith[/name] nn [name]Edie[/name]
[name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Ekaterina[/name]
I even really love [name]Eileen[/name]
[name]Elspeth[/name]
[name]Estelle[/name]/[name]Estella[/name]
[name]Helen[/name] is the same name as [name]Eileen[/name], [name]Elaine[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. It is the Greek version.
My fave is [name]Elizabeth[/name] nn [name]Liza[/name] or [name]Lizzie[/name]

I think [name]Evie[/name] is darling, but as a nickname for [name]Eve[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Evelina[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Eva[/name], or [name]Genevieve[/name]. To me, [name]Evie[/name] on its own is too insubstatial, and won’t age well.

Good luck!

I think [name]Evie[/name] is fab!
Some other E names I like are [name]Erin[/name], [name]Eva[/name], [name]Elodie[/name], [name]Emilia[/name]

I just had a daughter in [name]May[/name], and we named her [name]Evie[/name] [name]Laine[/name]. So, obviously, I like it!

I too like [name]Evie[/name] as a nn particularly for [name]Genevieve[/name]
