girl names...

I would love to name my daughter something that I can change the ending to lee. Because [name]Lee[/name] is a very strong name on my mothers side of the family. And I love the name [name]Elizabeth[/name] for a middle name as it is also a strong family name. Any help with the first name would be greatly appreciated.

I too have a strong family connection with the name [name]Lee[/name] and wanted to incorporate it. However, I hate some of the trendy β€œlee” names these days like [name]Caylee[/name]. Anyway, here are some β€œ[name]Lee[/name]” names I was considering for a middle name. Maybe these will help you with a first name:

[name]Rosalee[/name] is beautiful and would be my preference.

[name]Emilee[/name] / [name]Emilie[/name]

[name]Caralee[/name] (I would avoid [name]Coralee[/name] since it rhymes with orally)
[name]Rosalee[/name] (very pretty)
[name]Adalee[/name] (cute and [name]Addie[/name] is good nn)
Brooklee (not my fave, but some people like it)
[name]Lorelei[/name] ( a bit of a stretch, but so pretty)

I have a daughter named [name]Adalee[/name] [name]Beth[/name]. She is now 28 years old and we have yet to meet another [name]Adalee[/name]. [name]Adalee[/name] was named after a great-aunt who also had an Aunt [name]Adalee[/name]. Her middle name is the same as mine. Her nick name is [name]Addi[/name] (It would have been [name]Addie[/name] but I did not want the word die in her name.) She is so proud of her not so common name.

Have you considered a hyphenated (or double) first name with the name [name]Lee[/name]? I think that would be prettier than forcing the spelling to be -lee at the end of a name. For example,
[name]Hannah[/name]-[name]Lee[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Morgan[/name]-[name]Lee[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Linda[/name]-[name]Lee[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]

Good luck.
