I’m not sure how to start a poll but which name do you prefer, [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]?
As a full name, [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]. I love how light yet substantial it feels, and the flower connection is really nice. [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] is distinctive, fresh, and fragrant imo. A super sweet choice, and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a pretty combo 
However, I must say that I love [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], and [name_f]Nell[/name_f] as nicknames for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]!
Definitely [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is beloved around here, but I think [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] doesn’t get anywhere near the respect and usage it should. [name_u]Truly[/name_u] an underrated gem! I’ve never met a [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_m]IRL[/name_m] but wouldn’t think it was strange if I did—so it’s right in the sweet spot of familiar/unusual.

I like [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], but like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] (and all its great nicknames) a little more. I just wish it weren’t so popular right now.

Both are really pretty, but I prefer [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] because there’s way less pronunciation issues. Everyone seems to pronounce [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] a different way.
Right now I prefer [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] but both appeal!
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] is my favourite name ever! 
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] is really lovely. I like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] mostly for the possible nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
