Girl number 3...

Berries I’m dreaming up names for a sister to Matilda and Aurora…Our roots are Irish, Scottish [name_m]French[/name_m], British, Australian (a hodge podge)

Elowen Sylvie (Lola/Winnie)
Imogen Saoirse (Gigi)
Delphine Iris (Delphi)
Delphine Saoirse (Delphi)
Clementine Iris (cleo)
Oona Jacoba
Sylvie Ondine (vivi)
Sylvie Magnolia (vivi)

Which of these combos do you prefer for their sister? Other suggestions welcome!

Note: I’ve updated this post as I’m narrowing down combos… Above are my current favourites.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is such a lovely name and it suits well to [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] & [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I also like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] as a middle name. In addition, [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] are also superb. You can create many beautiful sets from mentioned names. My favourite combos include [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f].
Good luck!

Thank you so much for those suggestions! I really love them all!! [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] are my faves! I love [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] too though I’m not keen as [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] as a fn with my other girls. Perhaps [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] instead!

I love [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] iris, [name_f]Luna[/name_f] magnolia, and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Jacoba[/name_f] and I also love a v middle name for girl #3, so how about [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Jacoba[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is really lovely as well. [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] might be a great middle - [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] is so sweet. Good luck!

Thank You. I absolutely [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] suggestion of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]! And also [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is pretty (I wouldn’t use two middles when the other girls just have one) I’m not if sure [name_f]Oona[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] sound at odds with the other girls names though?

I have to say the first name that came to mind for you is [name_f]Noemi[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] sound beautiful together! It’s international but feels like it has the same “vibe” as the other two.

Whereas I appreciate the names [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (they are lovely), I feel like they may not match the same style as your other two girls’ names. I picture [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] with someone like [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] with someone like [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f].

I agree that [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] are the perfect fit!!! Both southern belles! I do think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] fit fine with my girls names too though. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] all have a whimsy yet solid vintage sound to my ear whilst [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] perhaps have a more elegant European feel together. I definitely associate [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] with being quite [name_m]French[/name_m]!

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is super cute!!! I don’t really like [name_f]Delphine[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] above all next to [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. :).
Other options:
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacoba[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is your defiant middle name I think.

I really [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] but [name_f]Oona[/name_f] means lamb and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] means dolphin so it’s a funny combination though it sounds beautiful! I do also love [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]!

Thank you for all the suggestions berries I’ve been refining my list and new list is up top! I’m seem to be feeling into names with a Celtic, Old English, Arthurian flair (to compliment [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f])

[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f]!!! Please!! Or [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Jacoba[/name_f]!!!

I like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] the best with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] & [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and the combos are great too:)

That’s interesting! These are two of my favourite names on the list especially as they also have strong nicknames that hold their own with [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] but I feared they stylistically were the least natural fit. Thank you… I respect your opinion!

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] gets my vote. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]

My vote is for [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. I absolutely love [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] as a middle name; my favorite combo is [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f].

I’m still crossing fingers for [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] - the more I say it, the more gorgeous it is! I like how it is another 3 syllable first name to tie in with both big sisters names, plus the v in the middle name seals the deal. My second choice is [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] Saorsie which has charisma and a wonderful flow but I prefer the name [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] for its sound over [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], which (to me) feels a bit ‘sturdy’ and not as lilting in comparison. ([name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are both quite lilting as well, imp!). I think a girl/woman named [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] sounds like someone I’d like to know [name_m]IRL[/name_m]!

I think [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] might just be my favourite too! I guess my only concern is whether [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is strong enough to hold her own with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] which have so much historical weight in comparison! I do think that they sound good together as you said she is lilting and she certainly brings out the whimsy, mystical, romantic potential in the other two girls names but I guess Im wondering if I should go for something that’s a more natural fit with both.

i think you’re moving away from matilda and aurora, since you don’t really have any 3 syllables names ending in a in your list.
how about delfina? it’s the italian version of delphine, and it would be pretty nice with matilda and aurora. i think silvia could work in the same way. from your list i like imogen the best. for inspiration, i know a matilda with 5 sisters: maeve, nula, lily, grace and clementine. so maybe clementine could work too.
