What are the opinions on the Dutch name Griet? (pronounced like [name]Greet[/name] I believe.)
I first heard of it in [name]Tracy[/name] [name]Chevalier[/name]'s Girl with a [name]Pearl[/name] Earring when I was twelve or so. I always thought of it as an alternate to [name]Greer[name] but I’d probably only ever use it as a mn.
I like it! I actually don’t like the name [name]Greer[/name] but I do like Griet. I wouldn’t use it as a first name but in the MN position I think it would be beautiful
