Girls are so hard to name!!

We’ve picked a name out if it’s a boy ([name]Henry[/name]). I just can NOT come up with a girl name. Here are some I like. [name]Feel[/name] free to mix and match if you have any suggestions. Our last name is 3 syllables, starts with a “W”, and ends in -er.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (too plain? I like [name]Elizabeth[/name] but I really dislike “[name]Beth[/name]”. We would probably call her [name]Izzy[/name] or [name]Libby[/name])
[name]Katherine[/name] (the only nickname I like is [name]Kate[/name])
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] (middle name only)

Help please!

I think [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Katherine[/name] might be too long and consonant rich with your last name. I have heard [name]Kate[/name] used as a middle name, and I like it! [name]Rose[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Julia[/name], [name]Grace[/name], [name]Frances[/name], and [name]Anna[/name] all sound great to me. For some reason I have never been partial to the name [name]Naomi[/name], but my husband loves it! [name]Ella[/name] is very popular right now, but if you love it, use it. [name]Ann[/name]/[name]Anne[/name] makes a good middle name but is less fashionable than [name]Anna[/name] right now. [name]Love[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]! So…I think your last name might be Waggoner or something like that, so here are some name combos:
[name]Eliza[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Anne[/name], [name]Julia[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Julia[/name] [name]Frances[/name], [name]Julia[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name] (hope you like this middle name, I thought it sounded great with [name]Grace[/name] and your last name. If your last name has the “g” sound in it, then [name]Evelyn[/name] is very soft between the two names.)
[name]Frances[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Frances[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name] (shorter than [name]Katherine[/name]), [name]Anna[/name] [name]Cathleen[/name], [name]Anna[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Anna[/name] [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Anna[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] (one of my all-time faves!)
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]

I love almost all the names on your list, so I’ll just say what I think sounds best with your last name.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name]- I don’t think it’s too plain at all, classic and beautiful if you ask me. [name]Libby[/name] is a great nickname and goes well with your last name.
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Anne[/name]- this is my mom’s name, so i’m biased.
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Rose[/name]- both sound pretty and i [name]LOVE[/name] the nickname [name]Kate[/name]. If you’d be calling her [name]Kate[/name] exclusively, I think [name]Kate[/name] [name]Rose[/name] sounds best.
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]- I really like [name]Anna[/name] with your last name, plus, she’d get the best of both worlds when teachers go in alphabetical order (some do by first name, some by last!)
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]- I like this equally as much as [name]Anna[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], maybe a little bit more.

Now, I know you don’t have [name]Eleanor[/name] on your list anymore, except once in the middle. But i think since you’ve always wanted a daughter named that, you should try to make it work somehow. i think [name]Eleanora[/name] is such a lovely option. And the fact that it hasn’t been in the top 1000 since 1939, while [name]Eleanor[/name] is at number 271 would just make her stand out. Some ideas:
[name]Eleanora[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Eleanora[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Eleanora[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Eleanora[/name] [name]Kate[/name]

If you wanted to use [name]Eleanor[/name] as a middle name, I think [name]Rose[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Frances[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] are pretty.

My favorite is [name]Ella[/name]… other ones I like: [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Julia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name].

I adore most of the names on your list … particularly [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. Imho, here’s how I like them paired (in no particular order):

[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] (love this!)
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Frances[/name]
[name]Naomi[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]

Good luck!
