I really like names that have a “[name]Christ[/name]-” in them for girls. The only thing is, I don’t like [name]Christina[/name]. [name]Just[/name] because of the “stina” sound. What do y’all think of…

I like [name]Christiane[/name]/[name]Christiana[/name]. Any other suggestions?
I love [name]Christiana[/name]–it just made my Top Ten. I prefer this spelling to [name]Christianna[/name] because the name is so long. I like [name]Christiane[/name], but I’m not familiar with it, and I like [name]Christiana[/name] better. [name]Christine[/name] is fine (perhaps a little dated?) I don’t care that much for [name]Christelle[/name] and [name]Christin[/name]. I think people would often misspell [name]Christin[/name] because of the popular [name]Kristen[/name]/[name]Kristin[/name]. I do like [name]Kirsten[/name] and [name]Kiersten[/name] pretty well, especially [name]Kiersten[/name], but then you lose the “[name]Christ[/name]” spelling.
What about [name]Christabel[/name]/[name]Christabelle[/name]?
Best wishes!
•[name]Christiane[/name]- Sounds too much like the male form, [name]Christian[/name].
•[name]Christiana[/name]- Like it! Very nice.
•[name]Christanna[/name]- Not as pretty as [name]Christiana[/name].
•[name]Christine[/name]- My favorite of these!
•[name]Christelle[/name]- [name]Love[/name]!
•[name]Christin[/name]- Like it much better spelled [name]Kristen[/name], but that’s obviously not what you’re looking for, so…
I love [name]Christiana[/name] and [name]Krista[/name] (dated though it’s starting to be). [name]Krista[/name]'s my favorite, though. I really liked [name]Christelle[/name] when I had just started college about 5 years ago.
I like [name]Christobel[/name], [name]Christianna[/name], [name]Kirsten[/name], and [name]Christian[/name] (this used to be a medieval Scottish name used exclusively for females).
I love the name [name]Christine[/name], and [name]Christiana[/name] is nice too. When I was a teenager, I decided to use [name]Christina[/name] for a future daughter. However, I later changed my mind, in part because I was afraid she would end up with the unisex nn of [name]Chris[/name]. That’s a distinct possibility with any of these names unless used in the middle.
My middle name is [name]Christine[/name], which I like but don’t love. I really like the idea of [name]Christiane[/name] or [name]Christiana[/name] a lot. Problem is I like the -ana sound better, but like the looks of [name]Christiane[/name] better.
[name]Christelle[/name] sounds made up and [name]Christin[/name] looks too clunky, especially since [name]Kristen[/name] and [name]Kristin[/name] are so much more common.
[name]Christine[/name] is my favorite. I think it is classic enough that it can’t really get dated. The only [name]Christin[/name] (spelled this way) that I’ve known was a boy, so that’s masculine in my mind. And the other ones kind of sound made up to me (I’m not saying they are made up – just that it was my first impression of them – I guess just because I’ve never heard them before).
I love [name]Christine[/name]! To me, it’s a classic that’s not really dated. For me, the best part of the name is the reference to Phantom of the [name]Opera[/name] After [name]Christine[/name], I like [name]Christina[/name].
I think [name]Christienne[/name] is beautiful, as is [name]Christine[/name] - which may seem ordinary to us but these days I have yet to hear of a new baby named [name]Christine[/name], which makes that a bonus! (In fact, it’s up in the 700’s on the Soc Security listing.)
… And there’s always the spelling [name]Christyn[/name].
My friend’s 20 something sister’s name is [name]Christiane[/name]… I really like the name I like the name [name]Christienne[/name] -did I make that up? I have no idea:)
I love [name]Christine[/name], that’s one of my closest friend’s name, and i think its just a sweet friendly name. i also know someone named Christanya which i don’t see on your list. i think it’s very pretty if you want to consider that. i know someone named [name]Christelle[/name] also so it doesn’t sound made up to me, i think that’s a nice one too. These are my favorites.
