I’m considering the girls name Finia, but not sure yet. It just kind of popped in my head. Has anyone ever heard it before or know someone named this? Is it better spelled Finia or Finnia?
Any other suggestions for me? This is my 5th child. I have 2 sons named [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] and 2 daughters named [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] ([name_f]Indie[/name_f]). Other girls names I like- [name_f]Capri[/name_f], [name_f]Harlow[/name_f], [name_f]Nahla[/name_f] or [name_f]Nala[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Soraya[/name_f], [name_f]Salome[/name_f], [name_f]Lux[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Anona[/name_f], [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], [name_f]Nova[/name_f], Sayla, [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f]
I’m looking for a name that’s bold, strong, beautiful l and unique. Help please!
I’ve never heard of Finia. I guess I’d spell it Finnia?
I actually think you have a great list already. My faves for you:
[name_f]Nala[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Lux[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
I’ve never heard of Finia/Finnia. It seems on point with the [name_u]Finn[/name_u]/[name_u]Finley[/name_u] trend. I like alot of names on your list and I think they go really well with your other kids names.
My favorites being:
[name_f]Nahla[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]/[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f]
[name_f]Lux[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]
Sayla
I know a little Finja in Germany (pronounced like Finia). While the name is a bit uncommon, it’s not startling as it works like other more common girl names (in Germany) such as [name_f]Sonja[/name_f], Svenja, [name_f]Anja[/name_f]. In the US, I think Finia will work well because [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] are quite common now. You could spell it Finia or Finya… I would leave it with one n though.
I like Finnia best because it makes me pronounce it finn-e-ah instead of like zinnia with an F. What way is it pronounced though?
I think I know a Finnea, and that’s a cool spelling too.
I’ve never heard of Finia/Finnia, but my first thought was that it sounds like a feminine version of [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], so maybe Phinea could work?
There’s also the Dutch name [name_f]Fenna[/name_f] and the Celtic/Scandinavian name Finna, both of which I love.
I also really like these from your list: [name_f]Capri[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f]/[name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Salome[/name_f], [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_f]Liv[/name_f].
I think any [name_u]Finn[/name_u] name is cute for a girl!
I recently met a little girl with the name Alazae (alla-zay), and found the to be a very striking and beautiful name.
