Girls name Harlow

Our last name is [name_m]Price[/name_m] and for our little girl the middle name is [name_f]Jade[/name_f], but I’m worried about the sound of our surname with [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]

[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m]

Would you
A) not worry as its not that bad
B) hyphenate the name to [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]-[name_f]Jade[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m]
C) choose a different name

If you opt to choose a different name, what would you suggest?

I think [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] sounds just fine!

[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] is a-okay. I like that [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is a recognizable name but not so common it’s plain, because [name_m]Price[/name_m] is a very straightforward, familiar name. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] shakes it up a bit. I would not hyphenate the two names, though. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] sounds nice as-is.

I actually really like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] is great!

I second the above opinions. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] sounds great!

Personally, I’ve never enjoyed [name_f]Jade[/name_f], but it flows well with the FN/LN. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] popped into my head as a viable middle name, just to toss that out there.

Honestly, [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is such a unique name that stands up over time; it’s spirited enough for a child but elegant enough for an adult, too. Sometimes that’s hard to find.

[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is a spunky name for a girl. I know two boy Harlows who are 6 but I always see it as a girls name like [name_u]Harper[/name_u]. I also love [name_u]Marlow[/name_u]/[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] too.

I dont think there’s anything wrong with it. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] is lovely

I think it sounds perfectly fine  Not bad sounds or connotations.

I’m going to take the minority view here. I only had to say [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] twice to hear “low price.” It seems to me like the kind of thing one can’t stop hearing once it’s been pointed out. But on the other hand, based on the previous comments, it doesn’t seem like many people would hear it immediately.

I think I would keep looking to see if there is another name you can love. If not, hyphenating [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]-[name_f]Jade[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] works, but it might be difficult to make other people use the full three syllables. So I feel torn between [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]-[name_f]Jade[/name_f] and just [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and think you should pick whichever you prefer.

Best of luck!

[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] price sounds fine
