So - my husband and I are expecting a baby girl in [name]September[/name] and are having a little bit of trouble coming up with a name that we both love. We are both Jewish/Russian, which definitely makes it harder. We want to name her after my husbands grandfather who passed away a few years ago - his name started with a Y. BUT - we can’t find any names that we like that begin with a Y or a J so have decided to use that as a middle name. Here are some of the first names we’re currently thinking about:
- [name]Isabel[/name]/[name]Isabella[/name] ([name]Issa[/name])
- [name]Gabrielle[/name]
- [name]Charlotte[/name]
- [name]Eva[/name]
Our favorite right now is [name]Gabrielle[/name] [name]Yona[/name]. [name]Yona[/name] because it incorporates the “Y” and because it means “dove”, which was the meaning of my grandfathers name, who also passed away. We’d like to stick with a Hebrew/Jewish first and/or middle name, although it’s not a must. Any suggestions? Thanks ladies!
