Girl's name help

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone

My husband and I are trying to conceive number one (YAY!) and we would love to use your creativity to help us with a middle name for a girl. You know how exhausting it can be to look through lists and just wait for the right name to find you! **Please keep that in mind when giving your suggestions and don’t provide me with super long lists. Shorter lists are better to avoid overwhelm.

So what we have so far for a girl is [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] ______ [name_f]Morning[/name_f]. [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is for the magic, beauty, stillness, excitement and peace of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]. We don’t celebrate the holiday in a traditional way and are not religious at all so it’s more about the meanings/feelings we associate with [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and the fun that the entire season brings. [name_f]Morning[/name_f] is because she will be the new [name_f]Morning[/name_f] of our lives after so much turmoil and heartache. The new day that brings so many blessings and just so much newness that only having your first child will give you, which for us ties into the Wintery feeling of possibilities and potential that [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] brings, as well as feeling kinda Springy which is itself the season of newness :).

Could you awesome, creative people help us by giving suggestions for the first middle name spot? Something that fits with the beautiful magic and newness that this baby will bring?

Some criteria are that it can’t be overtly from another culture, ie. [name_f]Svetlana[/name_f], [name_u]Yuki[/name_u], [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]. We want it to be easy to pronounce in English, not super common like [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_u]Sky[/name_u] or non-word names that are also popular for first and middle names. Word names and non word names are both welcome as long as the meaning is awesome, fits with/adds to the vision/feel and flows well (not limited to Nature meanings but those are our favourites)! Other than that we don’t really have a style per se, so we’re really open. That’s what makes it hard! lol Thank you in advance for your help!

If I can provide any other criteria please let me know!

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Heloise[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]

I prefer a name name to a word name since [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Morning[/name_f] are already wordy. I like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] from pp though since it’s pretty established as a name.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (blessed/traveler)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Branwen[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (raven)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (star)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (star)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (forest)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (gazelle)

The meaning behind [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Morning[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful:)

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (she who brings happiness)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (my beautiful one)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] (beloved)

I haven’t read any of the previous posts so my apologies for any repeats. I love Noelle Morning! Here are a few ideas.

Noelle Prairie Morning - a nature name meaning ‘open, wild grasslands’. It is also the name of my favourite garden planting style with natural waves of flowing grasses and wildflowers.

Noelle Olivine Morning - olive branches symbolise ‘peace, purity and victory’. I think she fits in beautifully.

Noelle Darla Morning - ‘darling’, I love this meaning for a little girl. I think she fits in perfectly with the ethereal and sweet name you’ve chosen.

Noelle Arella Morning - her meaning is ‘angel or messenger from god’. Although I’m not particularly religious, a new baby is a precious gift and this fits so beautifully with the image of this special time of year.

Noelle Iris Morning - this name means rainbow. A beautiful and magical natural spectacle bringing colour to any name.

Noelle Dove Morning - animal name symbolising ‘peace and chistmas time’. I love this one!

Noelle Blythe Morning - ‘carefree spirit, happy’. A perfect partner for the joy and magic that winter brings with her own wild, whimsical spirit.

Good luck!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the way you think! Totally fits in! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any more?!??? Thanks so much for including the meanings and why you picked them! It really helps!

So far we’re really loving [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] and [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]. I love the meaning of [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] but feel that it’s too cute and more meant for a child. I SUPER love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] for its meaning “daughter of the sea” because I love the ocean and one of my middle names, [name_f]Marissa[/name_f], means “of the sea” so it’s beautiful and would be perfect but my husband doesn’t like the sound of it. He keeps hearing/seeing [name_m]Cordell[/name_m] which is the name of an ex-friend’s father so that’s out unfortunately.

It turns out we’re not super into the older names like [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], thank you for helping us figure that out!

Maybe more things like those?! This is so helpful and exciting!!

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] is my favorite norwegian name and it means sun gift which is so beautiful

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] gives me the imagery of snow covered trees, starry nights and frozen lakes, it dosen’t get more magical than that

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] means the golden one and it’s one of those names that I think looks and sound so beautiful.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - One of my absolute favorite names and it means star and with the others names it becomes “[name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_f]Star[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f]”, so gorgeous!

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - [name_f]Davina[/name_f] means little dear, I mean, how precocious is that? The Celts believed that deer had a connection to the fairy realm, talk about magical

Oh thank you! I think our naming style is quite similar with the whimsical, ethereal vibe! [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] has long been one of my favourite names and [name_f]Morning[/name_f] is such a sweet surprise. I love the meaning behind your name choice for your little one.

Here are some more ideas you might like:

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - a fresh nature name that has lots of charm and is full of life. I love this name and the plant - a piney evergreen though winter where it grows in wild, spreading drifts.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - meaning ‘goddess of flowers’. A pairing that’s delicate and feminine with a wild edge.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ember[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - like that from a fire. I imagine sitting in a cosy chair by a crackling winter fire. So picturesque and in great company with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f].

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - ‘loveable’. A sweet addition that makes a dreamy combination.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - a little more popular but ‘wild boar in a woodland clearing’ is a lovely meaning and she flows so perfectly in the middle spot.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Dara[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - such a pretty meaning, ‘pearl of wisdom or oak tree’.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - a nature name, she means ‘laurel or bay tree’. An evergreen with spring flowers, a fresh and girly middle.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Whitely[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - she has the meaning ‘white meadow’ conjuring the image of snow covered meadows on a misty winter morning. I’m seriously loving this one, she might be my favourite!

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - ‘meadow of quivering aspens’ a simply stunning picture of natural wonder. A vibrant and pretty name choice.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Morning[/name_f] - Another nature name which refers to ‘thorny shrubs, especially a wild rose’. This is an elegant and beautiful name and I imagine the lasting thorns on a frosted rose bush, ready to bud and bloom in it’s new beginning.

Thank you! Those are all very beautiful!! We definitely do have the same style  I’m taking a lot of those names and they are going on our list for middles for other kids  We we’re talking last night and decided we want everyone to have an [name_u]Ocean[/name_u] connection as one middle name because the meaning of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] was our favourite for this little one. Thanks so much for all the ideas!

Thank you everyone for such beautiful and awesome combinations!! My husband and I have decided to go ahead with an [name_u]Ocean[/name_u] themed named for that spot, thanks to the impactful meaning of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] :). I’ll be closing this thread now to start another for the search of the perfect Oceany middle names! For the first baby as well as the many others to come
