I’m really crushing on the name [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] for a girl, however my 2.5 yr old sons number 1 toy love is called [name_m]Raffy[/name_m]. Would you not use it for this reason? Everyone in his life knows his little snuggly and his name. So conflicted!
Thanks for the help
Raffi is adorable!!! I personally love it. I would only think twice about using [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] if you think this would cause confusion in your household. Otherwise, I wouldn’t put too much stock into what others know, think, etc.
I like [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] ! Would it be short for something or would it be just [name_m]Raffi[/name_m]?
I wouldn’t worry about the association with the stuffy. Very rarely to they make it to teenage or adulthood with their snuggliest!
I like the similar
[name_f]Reva[/name_f] and [name_f]Riva[/name_f] or [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f]
I love PPs suggestions of [name_f]Reva[/name_f], [name_f]Riva[/name_f] and [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] with [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] as a nn.
Seraphina nn [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] could be a way to get around it - a full name and a nickname to detract from the toy
Hmm, I don’t think the association will be strong in a few years.
I probably would keep it as a nn. All I envision when I hear [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] is the bearded man singing [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Beluga
