I don’t like [name]Saber[/name], as it just makes me think of a certain type of sword, but from your combos, I like [name]Saber[/name] [name]Colette[/name] and [name]Saber[/name] [name]Nanette[/name].
I get very masculine when I hear [name]Saber[/name], and as mischa said, it also sounds rather violent. However, if you are set on it, I think it needs an extremely feminine middle to balance out, and from your list, [name]Saber[/name] [name]Colette[/name] or [name]Saber[/name] [name]Coralie[/name] do best at that [name]IMO[/name].
What do you think of [name]Sabra[/name]/Saybra or [name]Sabine[/name]? [name]Saber[/name] reminds me of the tiger or a star wars too, it seems very masculine too.
The name is interesting; however, I think the name sounds very harsh and man-like. From those options, I like [name]Saber[/name] [name]Collette[/name], [name]Saber[/name] [name]Rosalyn[/name], or [name]Saber[/name] [name]Coralie[/name].
I like it! I think it’s cute (and violent <3) the only thing is it makes me think of the company in The Office, which sort of mars it. I’d go for it anyways I like Roselyn and Raeanne for a mn.
I think saber-tooth tiger, light saber, I think of swords…and it makes me think of that TV show American Gladiator…it sounds like one of those guys names.
Much too masculine, though the actual syllables are nice in and of themselves. I would much prefer [name]Sabrina[/name], or pp’s suggestions of [name]Sable[/name] or [name]Sabra[/name].
It’s okay, but I do think of light sabers and such. [name]How[/name] about [name]Sabrina[/name], NN [name]Saber[/name]? And like a PP suggested, there’s [name]Sabra[/name] - which sounds much more feminine.
I love the name [name]Sable[/name] & it is good to know that general consensus leans toward [name]Sable[/name] over [name]Saber[/name] (though that doesn’t necessarily turn me off of [name]Saber[/name]).
[name]How[/name] do you say [name]Sabra[/name]?.. “[name]Say[/name]-brah”? “Sah-bra”? It doesn’t initally appeal to my eye/ear as much as [name]Saber[/name] or [name]Sable[/name].
I’ve seen the alternitave spelling [name]Sabre[/name] (still said “[name]Say[/name]-bur”) but I feel like it might be unnecessarily confusing when pronounciation would probably already be an issue for most people who wouldn’t expect to see [name]Saber[/name] as a name. I feel like the spelling [name]Sabre[/name] would have some people calling her “Sau-bree” (rhymes with [name]Aubree[/name]) or “[name]Say[/name]-bree” (rhymes with [name]Mabry[/name]). [name]How[/name] would you say “[name]Sabre[/name]” if you saw it as a FN?
