Girls names you predict being popular

Hello,
[name_m]Just[/name_m] for fun…
I’m from the UK and curious to see what girls’ names you predict to be popular in your country for 2020/21
Apparently [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are set to be popular here in the UK.
I wonder if names like [name_f]Hope[/name_f] will also prove popular.

[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is definitely a name I’m hearing more and more of in [name_f]England[/name_f] at the moment.

I know two babies born this week named [name_f]Freyja[/name_f], with this spelling.

Others I think will be rising (still)…

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] (with its topical “rainbow” meaning)
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_u]Romy[/name_u]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Orla[/name_f]
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_f]Annie[/name_f]
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]

I love them all :sob:

I think a lot of the ones rising in [name_m]Britain[/name_m] are also rising in popularity here in Australia. Ones I’ve noticed being used a lot or predict will become more popular soon are:

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]/Juno/Juniper
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_u]Noa[/name_u]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Nell[/name_f]

So basically, lots of names I love! :pensive: I’ve especially heard [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] (for both sexes), [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] a lot of late, so much so that I don’t think I’d use [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f] or [name_f]Olive[/name_f] for a second daughter, despite my love for them.

Freya was my fav name for the last 20 years. A little gutted it’s so popular.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is also popular

I’m thinking more Irish names like Saorise, [name_f]Orla[/name_f], [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] and [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] might grow in popularity along with hopeful names like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]

In the UK, I can see [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] getting really popular in the next few years. I see it everywhere online. It seems to be the new [name_f]Natalie[/name_f].

I could see [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] getting really popular.
