[name_m]Ah[/name_m] so many gorgeous suggestions. I am with you on [name_u]Wren[/name_u], feels too trendy and there is a kitchen company called [name_u]Wren[/name_u] that we had a bad experience with years ago . I really like the sound and interesting spelling though.
We actually are in [name_u]Scotland[/name_u], I’ll have a look at our national records and see which spelling is more common for Marsa/i/li, I think there is a gaelic spelling too with a d or g in there which really wouldn’t travel well.
Thank you so much again for the new suggestions, I appreciate your time and expertise so much! xx
Thank you. I do like those suggestions. [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is beautiful and feels quite fresh, but it’s the name of a margerine in the UK so might get a few eyebrow raises, otherwise would have been on my list! X
Fact that you’re in Scotland is cementing Marsali and Cecilia (esp Marsali) as the front runners for me! Still have a major soft spot for the similar sounding, more edgy Valerie but Marsali ahead by a nose!
Kate
Thora
Annalise
Cecilia
Diana
Eira
Minerva
Maeve
Xanthe
Faye
Eve
Zinnia
Valerie
Clara
Your girls have a sweet whimsical flair with beautiful meanings surrounding faith, holiness and happiness.
So I would narrow the list down further to Kate, Thora, Diana, Minerva, Xanthe, Faye, Eve, Zinnia and Clara as they have the pretty meanings with magical flair.
Also regarding Flora I thought it was a no go as we have the margarine but I’ve actually encountered a Flora’s she is a regular at the soft play I take my daughter too no issues at all. The mum says she just gets constant compliments along with people saying the name is a fresher on Florence which is popular for us. I wanted to suggest Marigold but we also have the gloves again though if Marigold has same reception as Flora I don’t see any issues.
Oooh I love your style! Also love the idea of a house full of sisters ( I grew up in an all girl generation myself - not a brother or male cousin in sight haha)
[name_f]Vaila[/name_f], [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] stand out to me, and I just discovered a little girl I know as [name_f]Vallie[/name_f] (which I ADORE), is a nickname for [name_f]Valerie[/name_f].
