I met an [name]Indy[/name] and [name]Bowie[/name] recently
These adorable little blonde twins that go to my little sister’s primary school are named:
[name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Christabel[/name], but go by [name]Tilly[/name] and [name]Christa[/name]
I’ve also met an [name]Adelina[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name] (quite common compared to something like [name]Adelina[/name], but she goes by [name]Elsie[/name] which is cute ) and also a [name]Charity[/name] which I thought was unusual.
I teach ballet, so I meet a lot of little girls! A few of the more unique names from my classes this session:
Sunia (I love this name, she likes to call herself [name]Nia[/name])
[name]Leonie[/name] (I just love saying her name! It’s pretty and peppy imo)
Esha
Hemming (Goes by Hemmy)
[name]Anahita[/name]
My waitress in the mountains in Pennsylvania was named [name]Echo[/name]. A friend from college recently named his baby [name]Luella[/name]. My cousin has a girl in her high school class named [name]Birch[/name].
[name]Penelope[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are two I’ve met recently.
I am friends with a Kipling, but she goes by Kippi. I also know a boy named Hassani, but his first name is [name]Fern[/name]!
I teach second grade, so I’ve had my fair share of unique names :)!
I had a previous little girl named [name]Judith[/name], which I loved.
I’ve also had a [name]Flora[/name], [name]Georgiana[/name], and [name]Zinnia[/name].
I know a little [name]Marlow[/name].
Also, an [name]Athena[/name].
Met a [name]Stella[/name] in the baby store.
I met a little girl name [name]Farren[/name].
On the playground I heard from a mother call out to her daughters:
“[name]Victoria[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Lillian[/name]!”
She was telling them it was time to go and didn’t shorten the names. Gorgeous.
I knew a girl named [name]Jerica[/name] when I was younger. I always thought her name was pretty cool!
Isn’t it interesting how the unusual names stick with people, and how the associations are positive?! Interesting!!
That is cool! Would I want to be named [name]Jerica[/name]? MAYBE!!! It’s pretty, isn’t it!
I haven’t exactly MET any girls with unusual names lately, but I’m pretty set on my daughter’s mn being [name]Snow[/name] :]
The most interesting girls names I’ve met recently…
[name]Matisse[/name] & [name]Monet[/name]- two adorable little blonde haired sisters
[name]Gentry[/name]- I didn’t think this would work on a girl but it totally did
[name]Boston[/name] - diddo
[name]Arabella[/name], [name]Lillia[/name], and [name]Paisley[/name] recently
I’ve met a [name]Jerrica[/name] and a [name]Paisley[/name] as well.

My daughter takes a baby ballet class and there are quite a few girls in the class with cool names. [name]Isaline[/name], [name]Hopper[/name] (her real name is [name]Olivia[/name] but goes by [name]Hopper[/name], I thought it was really cute), [name]Adena[/name] (pronounced [name]Ah[/name]-deen-ah), Ketcha (pronounced Keh-cha), Chyla (pronounced shy-lah), [name]Lainey[/name], and [name]Meadow[/name].
