I’ve narrowed my list down to a top six for each… but I’m nervous because I’m a name nerd and my favorites are always changing. Our last pregnancy (unfortunately we lost) I had my heart set on [name_u]Dean[/name_u] for a boy and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] for a girl. This time around [name_m]Trent[/name_m] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] have made their way to the top of my list and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] has completely fallen off all together. I prefer names that dont seem to be rapidly climbing in popularity. I know I lean towards familiar but uncommon names… tending to be one or two syllables. Possibly a southern/cowboy feel?.. I’m not sure exactly how I would classify these names. Bonus points for Water/[name_u]River[/name_u] related associations. Our first born is named [name_u]Wade[/name_u].
