I love to get fresh perspectives on names. So, if you guys want to participate, this is what I’d like to do:
Give me your first name, and preferably a last initial, in case there are more than one of you. (or a fake name, just something you can know yourself as when I post your combos) and give me at least 5 boy combos that you like. You can list out why you like them if you’d like, but you don’t have to.
[name_m]Oren[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m]- I love [name_m]Oren[/name_m] for its soft but strong sound, we like O- names because we want to use the nn [name_m]Oz[/name_m] (with our last initial). [name_m]Drake[/name_m] sounds nice in the middle and means ‘dragon’ which is very meaningful to my husband.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]- again, [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is soft but strong, and I just find it so handsome. [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is such a magical name, I have a deep love of reading and it combines our fathers’ names.
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Penn[/name_m]- [name_m]Asher[/name_m] just makes me happy, and I love that it has a happy meaning. My husband really likes the name too. [name_m]Penn[/name_m] is a rememberance of our early dating and engaged years when we lived in Pennsylvania. Plus I just like the name and find it handsome!
[name_m]Bram[/name_m] [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]- [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is a new name to our list, we came upon our love for it mutually and I love the mysterious feel of the name. I see it working on a mischevious little boy who grows up to be an outdoorsy, athletic gentleman. [name_u]August[/name_u] is a family name on my husband’s side (his grandfather, uncle and cousin) and is also my husband’s middle name. I think [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] flows better though and adds to the mysterious sound.
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]- [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] just sounds so fun to me, and I like the possibility of the nn [name_m]Fin[/name_m]. I feel that [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] or one of its nns could fit any personality. [name_m]Edward[/name_m] is my grandfather’s name and I think it works well with [name_m]Griffin[/name_m].

[name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] - [name_m]Xander[/name_m] is a name that I have loved ever since I watched [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] the vampire slayer. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is another name that I loved since I watched a popular TV show, that I won’t be using as a first name due to its rise in popularity and my love for the sound of [name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. And not matter how many times someone says that they like [name_m]Xander[/name_m] as a nn for [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], it won’t change the fact that I like [name_m]Xander[/name_m] more and may be using it in the future.
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] - [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] has been one of my favorite names ever since I starting liking names. I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a middle
name because it is short and handsome.
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] - I am not considered about the Es running together because this name takes the style of my fiance’s name and includes his middle name and a name from his favorite movie series. I love [name_m]Luke[/name_m] because it is short and too the point, I have never liked [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Edward[/name_m] because it is a name that runs in my fiance’s family and it is a classic and I love the way it sounds.
[name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] - [name_m]Adam[/name_m] is not set in stone as the middle name for [name_u]River[/name_u]. But both names have always been my favorite. [name_u]River[/name_u] is the name of my future son and it has been that way since I first heard it. I love [name_m]Adam[/name_m] because it is a handsome name, and I love the way it flows with [name_u]River[/name_u].
