I desperately wanted to name my daughter [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but just couldn’t get my husband on board with it. If we have another daughter, I’m going to push hard for a rose name…Rose, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]

This made me think - I don’t have any r names (first or middles) on my long list!
I would have to go with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] though - it’s classic, elegant, beautiful, goes from babyhood to old age with ease, and everyone knows how to say and spell it, not to mention its beautiful namesake

[name_m]Reggie[/name_m] - I love the sort of retro skater girl vibe, similar to [name_f]Roxie[/name_f] but maybe more of a subtler or softer name than [name_f]Roxie[/name_f]. Also feels like it could be for a child who loves hiking and any outdoor time. I picture a little girl with overalls and a beanie and rainboots and a flannel tied around her waist and fairy wings on her back.

That’s a really tough choice but I’ll go with [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] since no one else has said her yet.
[name_f]Gorgeous[/name_f] flowy sound that’s also strong and grounded. Brings to mind fantasy adventure imagery while still being usable in real life. Fantastic meaning (“great queen”) and I can use my beloved [name_f]Annie[/name_f] as a nickname!

right now…it’s ramona.
i used to not like this name, but someone @smileymiley managed to make me like it with her gorgeous ramona sunshine! so i’m not going to try sell it as i can see she has sold it to you already and she will have done a better job then i ever will! 🫶🏻

I love her clunky, retro, lovable sound, and her warm golden colour. The imagery is just beautiful; vintage trains, battered suitcases, wanderlust, summer afternoons, honey, the smell of baking bread and flowers, bare-feet, children running wild in the fields, gingham dresses, listening to your favourite records on repeat…I think of [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] Waterbury from the Railway Children and [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] [name_m]Wickham[/name_m] from the Jeeves and Wooster books, and these two namesakes add a nostalgic, sunny, comfortable feel to her as well as the adorable, fun, spunky, slightly mischevious nickname [name_f]Bobbie[/name_f] which I adore.
