[name_f]Ruby[/name_f]! She’s so fun and happy, she seems like a girl who’s confident, bubbly personality, free to be whoever she likes. I know it’s been said but it’s my only favourite R name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] all time favorite is [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It’s so beautiful and classic. I desperately wanted to name my daughter [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but just couldn’t get my husband on board with it. If we have another daughter, I’m going to push hard for a rose name…Rose, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalina[/name_f] is my favorite rn. I love its romantic, princessy vibes
This made me think - I don’t have any r names (first or middles) on my long list!
I would have to go with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] though - it’s classic, elegant, beautiful, goes from babyhood to old age with ease, and everyone knows how to say and spell it, not to mention its beautiful namesake ![]()
I’ll go with [name_m]Robin[/name_m] since no one’s done that yet.
[name_m]Robin[/name_m] [name_m]Williams[/name_m], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] Robin…
[name_f]Cheerful[/name_f], sweet, kind, gentle, playful- loves exploring forests and stories, mature and mischievous
[name_f]My[/name_f] other favorites: [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_m]Rafa[/name_m], [name_m]Raja[/name_m], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]! Nickname “Romy” or just the full name.
[name_m]Reggie[/name_m] - I love the sort of retro skater girl vibe, similar to [name_f]Roxie[/name_f] but maybe more of a subtler or softer name than [name_f]Roxie[/name_f]. Also feels like it could be for a child who loves hiking and any outdoor time. I picture a little girl with overalls and a beanie and rainboots and a flannel tied around her waist and fairy wings on her back.
[name_f]Runa[/name_f] is my favorite at the moment. It’s pretty and has an inner strength quality.
Ruth! I just think she is sweet and vintage. It kind of gives me cottagecore vibes

Oh, and Ruthie is such an adorable nickname!
my favorite r name is ronan! i think he’s so cool and handsome!
[name_m]Rowan[/name_m]. I love that it’s unisex and versatile. I love its cool, outdoorsy vibes. I also love the nickname possibilities - “Ro”, “Ronnie”, “Winnie” - they’re all so sweet!
I’ll have to say lovely [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]! She’s darling but spunky, and reading the [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] books growing up really makes the name shine! ![]()

That’s a really tough choice but I’ll go with [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] since no one else has said her yet.
[name_f]Gorgeous[/name_f] flowy sound that’s also strong and grounded. Brings to mind fantasy adventure imagery while still being usable in real life. Fantastic meaning (“great queen”) and I can use my beloved [name_f]Annie[/name_f] as a nickname!
Here's my moodboard for her to show more of the imagery I get

I like [name_f]Riley[/name_f]! It’s so cute to me and the nickname [name_m]Ry[/name_m] is also adorable
right now…it’s ramona.
i used to not like this name, but someone @smileymiley managed to make me like it with her gorgeous ramona sunshine! so i’m not going to try sell it as i can see she has sold it to you already and she will have done a better job then i ever will! 🫶🏻
so we’ll go with my second favourite…reneé
i do love miss reneé
she is so mature and regal, such a gorgeous & regal name. she would work so sweet on a young child possibly with the nickname reni! however, on a grown woman reneé would also be so mature & beautiful! super sweet & spunky as well as being just such a happy name! 🫶🏻:sunflower:
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] ![]()

There is a man haunts the forest that abuses our young plants with carving ‘Rosalind’ on their barks; hangs odes upon hawthorns and elegies on brambles; all, forsooth, deifying the name of [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. If I could meet that fancy-monger, I would give him some good counsel, for he seems to have the quotidian of love upon him. ~ As You Like It (III.ii)
Oh, [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]! I adore her. Shakespeare’s whip-smart, wordsmith heroine who rules the forest of [name_f]Arden[/name_f] with her clever ruses and boyish disguise. When I think of [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] I think of summer in full bloom, rose petals and books strewn everywhere. She’s both lovely and adventurous, elegant and strong with her dual meanings beautiful rose and gentle horse. I’ve known one in real life, an artistic soul with vibrant red hair. The nickname options are wonderful too: [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Sally[/name_f], Lindy…
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite would have to be [name_f]Romy[/name_f], I just think it’s cute and spunky.
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] because it means ‘compassionate friend’ and that’s exactly what I’d want my daughter to be. I also love the bible story.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite R name is [name_f]Roberta[/name_f]!

I love her clunky, retro, lovable sound, and her warm golden colour. The imagery is just beautiful; vintage trains, battered suitcases, wanderlust, summer afternoons, honey, the smell of baking bread and flowers, bare-feet, children running wild in the fields, gingham dresses, listening to your favourite records on repeat…I think of [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] Waterbury from the Railway Children and [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] [name_m]Wickham[/name_m] from the Jeeves and Wooster books, and these two namesakes add a nostalgic, sunny, comfortable feel to her as well as the adorable, fun, spunky, slightly mischevious nickname [name_f]Bobbie[/name_f] which I adore.
