Give me your opinion on my favorite girl names?

First of all, my favorite names change all the time…
But as of right now, I’m quite fond of these:

[name_f]Addie[/name_f]
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] [Ay-vee-ah]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmi[/name_f] (i’m usually not one for alternative spelling, but this one is special to me)
[name_u]Josie[/name_u]
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Liva[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]

What do you think? Be as honest as you want, but please don’t be downright mean

… I’m so impatient haha.
Anyone?

But as of right now, I’m quite fond of these:

[name_f]Addie[/name_f]- very trendy
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] [Ay-vee-ah]. Pretty but I almost feel like there’s a piece of it missing.
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]- BEAUTIFUL
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]- I don’t like this one a grown woman
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]- I’m eh.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]- pretty very trendy
[name_f]Emmi[/name_f] (i’m usually not one for alternative spelling, but this one is special to me) - see [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_u]Josie[/name_u]- cute, hard for a woman to wear.
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]- not a fan
[name_f]Liva[/name_f]- see [name_f]Aviva[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] - beautiful but popular
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - nms
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]- nms
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]- very popular
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]- nms

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helps

[name_f]Addie[/name_f] - not very wow, just a solid name
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] [Ay-vee-ah] - very pretty, however i prefer it as ah-vee-ah
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] - very beautiful
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - pretty
[name_f]Effie[/name_f] - i’m not too keen on this one
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - although this is quite trendy, i have always liked it
[name_f]Emmi[/name_f] (i’m usually not one for alternative spelling, but this one is special to me) - hmmm, avia + emmi = shaycarls much?? that’s what i first think of. i don’t really like the emma/emily names
[name_u]Josie[/name_u] - i don’t really like this one
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f] - hmm, not my favourite
[name_f]Liva[/name_f] - i find this a bit plain
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] - i like this name as mee-lah, this is also a family name for me (i have an aunt named milana)
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - heart-eyes emoji, very beautiful, i would easily name my daughter this, if i lived in a country where pronunciation wasn’t a problem
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] - i don’t think this one’s my cup of tea
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - a bit popular right now for my taste
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] - i noticed the majority of your names are quite short and could be nicknames for longer names, like this one. tessa, as a name, is pretty, but i would automatically assume it’s a nn.

From this list, I like:

[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Josie[/name_u]
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] (I assume ‘[name_f]Liva[/name_f]’ was a typo?)
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]

With the exception of [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u], which, I think, stand on their own, [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] (it might be a special spelling to you, but [name_f]Emmi[/name_f] just looks childish and silly), [name_f]Effie[/name_f], and [name_f]Addie[/name_f] need a long form on the birth certificate. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]? [name_f]Effie[/name_f] can, of course, be short for [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].

I like:
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] – Very cute.
[name_f]Liva[/name_f] – Wow, I’m so surprised to see this one. It was my mom’s #1 name for me, but my dad vetoed her, sadly. I absolutely love it and think it needs some attention. It’s quite a traditional/old-fashioned name where I live.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] – Pretty, elegant, but very popular.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] – I find it spunky and cool, although I prefer it as a nn for [name_f]Theresa[/name_f].

[name_f]Addie[/name_f], [name_f]Effie[/name_f], [name_f]Emmi[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] are just nicknames to me; I find them quite informal and trendy.

Yeah, If I ever use [name_f]Addie[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] etc, it will probably be as nicknames.
[name_f]Liva[/name_f] is becoming very popular where I live, it was actually #18 for girls in my country last year.

Ooh, are you a fellow Scandinavian by any chance?

[name_f]Addie[/name_f]
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] [Ay-vee-ah]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmi[/name_f] (i’m usually not one for alternative spelling, but this one is special to me)
[name_u]Josie[/name_u]
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Liva[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]

There is nothing bad about any of these names. The only ones I don’t care for are [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]. I hear them too often on dogs and cats. I have never really like [name_u]Josie[/name_u] or [name_f]Effie[/name_f] either. I like some nicknamey names, but not those ones.
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is really sweet. I like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] the best.

You got it

[name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are my favorites (though not for a family of three sisters!)

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is good too. I prefer [name_f]Tess[/name_f] or [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] to [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].

The others are not my style.

[name_f]Addie[/name_f]–I quite like this. I’m a fan of vintage nicknames being used as full names: [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Addie[/name_f], etc. Would this be part of a bigger name? [name_u]Addison[/name_u], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Adelina[/name_f]? I also quite like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] as a full name.
[name_f]Avia[/name_f]–I don’t like Ay-vee-va, but I don’t mind Uh-vee-va. It’s not my taste and I would never pick it for myself, but it’s an okay name.
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]–I much prefer [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. I had a lisp as a child and even though it’s pretty much gone name, names like [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] seem to bring out lingering traces of it, so I don’t care for them. It’s a pretty enough name, though.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-- My least favorite flower name. I much prefer names like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f] as opposed to [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] doesn’t scream “elegant vintage charm” to me, but rather kind of country bumpkin. Also, a friend just named their dog [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], and it’s kind of an asshole, excuse my language.
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]–I actually like this name. It has the name feel as [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Addie[/name_f], etc., but also has strong Greek roots.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]–I adore this name. I like it much more than [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and I have at one point or another considered [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a first name, but my future last name has a prominent “[name_f]El[/name_f]” sound in it, so it wouldn’t work. My best friend has this name selected as her number one name for a girl, so I’m pleased it’s being used somewhere.
[name_f]Emmi[/name_f]–Bleh. I hate the spelling. Sorry to be so blunt, but it’s just not cute. As for the name [name_f]Emmi[/name_f], I just don’t care for it. [name_m]Even[/name_m] as a nickname for other names, such as [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], I just don’t find [name_f]Emmi[/name_f] all that cute. I would possibly prefer just [name_f]Em[/name_f] or even [name_f]Emma[/name_f]…But it doesn’t have the same charm as [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Addie[/name_f] does. It doesn’t feel unique or uncommon, but rather really popular.
[name_u]Josie[/name_u]–Not my favorite. I find it just a touch too stuffy. It’s definitely vintage, but in the way [name_f]Gladys[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Ida[/name_f] are vintage. It doesn’t have the revival charm as far as I’m concerned, but that’s definitely just my opinion.
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]–Hardcore Duggar vibes. Really don’t like it.
[name_f]Liva[/name_f]–I don’t know how to necessarily pronounce this name and I don’t care for it.
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]–I like this name a lot. I think it’s a little trendy right now and it’s definitely having it’s moment. At one point, I like this to be the nickname for [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] when I was considering [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] for the first name slot.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]–I think this is definitely cute, vintage, spunky. [name_m]Even[/name_m] with heavy associations with Friends or Charmed, I think this name can stand out on it’s own. It’s uncommon enough that you don’t hear it very often, but it’s still recognizable.
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]–Ugh. I don’t know why, but I have an irrational hatred for this name. I just don’t find it all that cute, but see it used quite a bit. It definitely got popular for a while.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]–I prefer this much, much more than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I find [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] to be very cute, vintage, and charming. However, due to the overwhelming popularity of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], I could never use the name [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. Not for quite some time.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]–I think this name is so-so. It’s not my fave, but I don’t have any serious objections to it.

Sorry if I came off harsh or brutal. I just kind of went with my first reactions.

I like most of your names moderately. I love that you do not feel pressured into having long names that would only be for the birth certificate anyway.

I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] or [name_f]Emi[/name_f]. I’m not keen on [name_f]Joy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f] or [name_f]Liva[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is not my favourite but that is just my personal style. Another problem I see is that not many go together to make pairs so you may have to go hunting.

However, overall your list is beautiful
